Social Toy Collectors Thread

Saw an official looking banner pic of a silhouette of Marvel Legends X-Men movie figures, so maybe that's Tuesday's reveals. Looked like same stuff shown at a prior convention.
 
Amazon has deal of the day golden box Marvel Legends 3 pack Magneto, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch $30, Alpha Flight $64, or something like that.

They are figures based on the films, its the 20 anniversary of the first x-men film.

I saw the 2 pack Prof & Magneto comes with quite a few alternate heads and old fashioned wheelchair.

The Sentinel Haslab unlock bonus woman face sculpt looks awful, especially compared to GI Joe Scarlet and Love Triangle Jean Grey.

Didnt put much attention to the figure, I just figured female Sentinel primes were supposed to be weird looking like normal sentinels, but I guess they are supposed to be pretty like most comic characthers.

I saw some leak of Star Wars Black Series to be Walmart exclusive:

Clone Wars cartoony Ahsoka
Iron Patriot Clone Trooper
Mandalorian Loyalist almost like Jango Fett (whose Black Series looks like short Kirby Puckett proportions)
Pointy Darth Maul like head helmet Mando Commando

Let me buy one Mando Loyalist before you guys army build, mmkay?

The Mando Loyalist and 332nd were the only ones that looked good. I picked up the 332nd one.
 
People got pissed at the new Joe figures, well they also got pissed at the 6' reveal.

The Walmart website sure makes it hard to find the "convention" exclusives. Had to go back and find a link from a fan site.

Only was able to order Mando Loyalist. Ahsoka sold out, GI Joe retro all sold out. Snake Eyes and Stormshadow didn't look great, especially Stormshadow's face paint application, but would have ordered both. The file index card on the card back was good. Any more characters coming later?

They should just accept and sell as many pre-orders as possible, then figure out how many to make. Selling out pre-orders doesn't make sense.

Were only Snake Eyes, Stormshadow, Baroness, AWE and driver, HISS tank and driver Walmart exclusive or the whole retro line is Walmart? O-ring or modern joints that don't need o-ring replacements?

They are walmart exclusive reissues of modern ringless figures (with less accesories than the previus releases of the same figures).
