Social Toy Collectors Thread

I read two more old issues of Uncanny X-Men where Wolverine & Nightcrawler go help Vindicator, Shaman, and Snowbird defeat Wendigo, and now I am itching to buy four Marvel Legends figures so I can build an ugly headed Wendigo. They didn't make the comic Wendigo head.

I saw on ebay some people are selling the individual BAF parts for slightly less than the figure brand new.

EDIT: I have one Wendigo arm and it's way bigger than Beast's leg! It's almost as big as Nightcrawler!

I'm guessing there's no 6" scale Hasbro G.I. Joe Snake Eyes or Stormshadow, so I am itching to make my own out of Marvel Legends lookalikes, but I don't know how to safely remove and transplant some parts or how to get appropriate heads to swap. Low probability of being able to make a 3D printable model from scratch that will fit on a neck ball joint peg.

Maybe they'll make a 6" scale figure when the movie comes out.

Just a side note on this Snake Eyes movie, why? The studio that is making this is wasting their time and money and if anyone watch’s it wasting their time. From what ive read you will see his face and he speaks. Besides that, why would the studio start off with a Snake Eyes movie? Let’s pretend that the crap they made called GI Joe didn’t happen, you start the franchise off with a side character like Snake Eyes;you re boot with a better GI Joe movie with Snake Eyes in it then do a spinoff. Plus, no young kids or 18 yr olds will know who the fuck Snake Eyes is, more the people who grew up in that era and more over, the people that grew up in that era know that Snake Eyes doesn’t speak and we’ve never seen his face in the cartoons. Also, I thought Snake Eyes was a Caucasian man? Actor playing him is Asian. Am I wrong on that ethnicity?

Everyone likes ninjas. Old G.I. Joe fans will take their kids to intro them to G.I. Joe. Action figures will be bought. People will have jobs.

Lol, people will have jobs. Of coarse they will, doesn’t mean to make this movie.

At any rate, I don’t think this movie will be a big success or anything. It will be forgotten just like the G.I. Joe movies that were made.

I've got pretty much the full line of McFarlane's Movie Maniacs. I loved those things. Still do. Though I don't have them on display in our new house like I used to in my old apartment. In fact, I had to sell all my oversized Movie Maniacs before moving because there just wasn't room for them on the moving truck. I only got a fraction of what all eight figures were worth but what I got for them reimbursed us for our cross-country airfare so I'm not complaining too much.

Do you have the Hellraiser deluxe set that came with all 4 Cenobites and the display with the hanging chains? I could never find that one back in the day.
Once saw the big Sleepy Hollow one at the mall and passed on it for some reason in like 2000. I'm surprised it's only $65 on Ebay.

I've got the HELLRAISER set but not the SLEEPY HOLLOW. Which I always wanted but never actually saw in any stores. But, it's for the best though because I would have just wound up selling it last month. :(

Just the thought to make this movie should have alarm bells ringing, but that’s what you get when you have these out of touch people making movies

I just saw this today apparently from this weekend's Canada toy show. Amazon exclusive 6 pack Alpha Flight box set. If I were a big Alpha Flight fan, I'd buy this for $119. I just need a normal Wendigo alternate head.

I just saw today the special figure with a Marvel Unlimited Plus subscription is a pink and black Deadpool, then the page reverted back to the Venom Punisher figure picture later. I'm hoping that means they changed their mind about pink and black Deadpool and give away something better.
 
My kids have 5k worth of action figures.. All with missing arms, legs, and heads. They played with them a lot.


But rare action figures of all kinds, including artist specific lines. I told them to keep some in the box, but they never did.
 
Have the Hot Toys Iron Spider, the eyes light up so took a 2nd pic with the eyes on

Nice figure except the material bunches up when bending the limbs into poses as you can see

Funny that this thread popped back up.

I was browsing toys on Amazon and ordered some Funk Pop figures

I got..

Voltron
Queen Alien Xenomorph
Predator
Jason Voorhees
Freddy Krueger

Those will be delivered within a week or so.

I started off searching for the die cast Voltron toy I had as a kid. The ones I seen were expensive and I'm not even sure they were originals

I also bought some more Hot Wheels and now I have a new favorite. Its the old old school Bat Mobile. I did not open that one

I'm looking to buy some kind if glass/wood display case with shelves for all my toys..

I add also spotted sets of Marvel and DC die cast figures for fairly cheap. Sets of 20 little metal figures.

I didn't order those but I want to. Tjis company has all sorts of die cast metal toys. The 4 inch transformer toys look pretty cool. They are less then 20 bucks each.
