Honestly I don't know what "Tomica" is

I dont know if I have any Japanese cars besides the new Civic Type R..

I dont collect them for value or anything. I like to display them over my fireplace shelf.

I mostly go for Mustangs, Camaros, Batmobiles, and I go for military vehicles.

I also open them up out of the packages.

I'll snap a pic real quick.

I'm just really into cars. I've been street racing since I was a kid and I drive a Mustang. I also like working on cars.
Tomica is only one of the top Hot Wheels similar scale makers from Japan. Them coming back to the USA market is huge. The price is similar to Hot Wheels Premium. The quality and detail is better and I think they always do front and back lights detail. I don't have any yet because there weren't any I liked available to special order from Japan. I might buy the Subaru BRZ if I see it.

If you don't have the Nissan 300ZX, Nissan Skyline R32, R33, R34, or Mazda RX-7 '95, you're missing some nice ones.

Maybe a couple of weeks ago, Walmart had the Fast & Furious cheaper mainline like RX-7, Buick Grand National, Nissan 370Z and a lot of them. In a day or so, totally wiped out.

I ended up buying 3 of the Plano 5329 cases that fit 24 cars each.

The only Batmobile I bought was the one in the same colors as the Adam West TV show. I did end up buying a gray camo Land Defender Double Cab.

I saw there's gonna be a '68 Nova in the same paint scheme as the green shark mouth Muscle Bound.

I still have a mess of Transformers in my parents' basement.

If not mentioned already, the Netflix doc series "The Toys That Made Us" is a good watch. The YouTube channel "Toy Galaxy" is great for modern and high end stuff along with mini-docs about stuff from the 80s & 90s. If you ever thought about how "Bravestarr" or "Dino-Riders" was a neat concept and wondered how it failed they explain it for multiple toy lines.

If you still have the box that some of them came in, you've doubled their value.

Man I want that Thanos so bad but am scared to go down the Hot Toys hole.

I always find myself wrapping the elastic tubing around my arm when it comes to Hot Toys around Christmas time... :(

Gonna bookmark this thread and post some pics of my figs/statues and a couple of rare-ish games that I have also.

Not only hot toys, but McFarlane is going to do DC figures in 2020, Neca, Mafex, SH figuarts, Mattel and a bunch of lines by DC Collectibles/Direct, while choice and competition is great I feel too much choices will hurt the hobby.

Neca Batman and Joker Alien.

I just got the SH Figarts Full Power Brolly for my kid yesterday, we put it together. Lots of pieces but he loves it.

Next time I'm in Walmart, I'll look for those Tomica cars. If I see them, I'll buy them

I can't figure out how to lower file sizes on pics so I made a quick vid. I got all my limited edition Chrome Monster Trucks in my freezer..

I opened them up. Like I said it's mostly just for decoration. Not value..

The Tooned Muscle cars are my favorites in my collection at the start of the vid

How does McFarlane compare to Hasbro Marvel Legends quality and articulation?

I watched a few Mattel DC Multiverse reviews and the hip articulation and stuff looked weird compared to what Hasbro makes.

McFarlanes quality now is really bad. Bought 2 Game Of Thrones Dragons - had to return both because of broken wings and loose joints that you can’t even display them.

Some of my brand new Marvel Legends have loose joints where it's hard to stand by themselves. Some had stuck shoulder joints where I risked damage by forcing the butterfly joint to rotate and they did eventually. The Beast's articulated toes joint makes it hard to stand upright.

McFarlane pretty much changed the game with detail and painting in the 90s, but their figures were basically statues with few points of articulation.

That being said their new figures are competitive with the current market in articulation.

Maybe these can help...

The Obitsu action figure stand^ Around $25 for a pack of 5 on Amazon

Or...

Neca Action figure stands. Most action figures come with a hole in the bottom of the heel/foot, plug it in. One size does not fit all though..

Around $20 on Amazon.

I saw those clear simple single peg stands are pretty expensive online.

I wasted so much money on his Movie Maniacs line. Bought the Jaws one too.

Polystone Darkseid that I got from the WB store. Had a coupon so I saved some bank on that one! The "Omega Effect" (Eye lasers, top right) light up also. The cape, base, and other accessories are underneath the Darkseid layer.

I forgot about my Hotwheels Monster Trucks. I have nearly the whole collection. I have all my chrome monster trucks in my freezer. I've almost run out of space

Tried to upload pics. Its saying file is too large

I have no clue how to make them smaller

:/
If you have android use Qreduce lite app.

It allows you to pick any pic on your phone and type in the KB you want the output pic to be.

Sherdog allows maximum of 100kb so i use 99 KB as my op pic, works perfectl.
