Social Toy Collectors Thread

I read some old Uncanny X-Men from my PDF DVD-ROM of Guardian/Weapon Alpha/Vindicator and Alpha Flight trying to get Wolverine back to Canada to see if I want to buy Marvel Legends Guardian in case I see it in stores.

It comes with the Wendigo torso and I already have the left arm from Nightcrawler. Maybe I can mix and match some other BAF parts on him later.

After seeing how huge Hulk is from the Hulk vs Wolverine 2 pack, I kinda want to buy that. The biggest I have so far are Beast and Thor.

Bought Batman Dark Knight Rises DX fig several years ago when it first came out. It’s a pretty well thought out action figure from the moving eyeballs to the base that lights up. Definitely high quality. I stopped at that though because it’s damn pricey. I sound poor.

The issue I read had Sasquatch chuck the X-Men jumbo jet into a hangar and the speed twins sucker punch KO'ing X-Men in the back of the head. Didn't know Sasquatch was so strong.

Damn, just looked that figure up on youtube, it's pretty damn nice. Batman is a tough one to collect because they have sooooo many different figures, so if you're a die hard fan and want them all, then it gets crazy, they even have the 1960's Batman figure

But this is the one you have? And this dude Justin has a phenomenal collection



And if you have the time and want to see his collection. He has Marvel, DC, Star Wars. If you wanna see 1960's Batman, skip to 7:30

Thanks for the vids. Crazy how many Hot Toys he has. You need a lot of room too besides having a lot of disposable income.

Yeah that’s the Batman figure I have. I posed him with most of his cape draping down in front of him with his head slightly tilted down. I went for the mysterious/ less is more superhero pose. Surprisingly the display lights still turn on - a testament to Hot Toys high quality.
 
I'm working on the Transformers Masterpeice collection. Expensive hobby. They are ridiculously complex and as close to the cartoon as you can get.

One of the toy podcasts I listened to recently said they sometimes take the originals and remaster and reissue by taking the individual parts to recreate molds. I had no idea there was demand to go through the trouble to do that.
 
I saw something saying Unicron didn't look like it was gonna get enough supporters.
 
I collect Hotwheels and Matchbox muscle cars..

I've got some Marvel and Transformer toys but mostly cars..
 
My wife, Jana, surprised me today by giving me an early birthday present ( even though my birthday isn't until October ) & I think it's awesome. :D

Not only hot toys, but McFarlane is going to do DC figures in 2020, Neca, Mafex, SH figuarts, Mattel and a bunch of lines by DC Collectibles/Direct, while choice and competition is great I feel too much choices will hurt the hobby.

Neca Batman and Joker Alien.

I saw Tomica is supposed to be in Walmart exclusively with an initial small selection. You gonna buy that?

Here the scalpers are so quick and thorough to completely wipe out supply of all Japanese cars from Hot Wheels. Pretty much never seen any Nissan 300ZX on the pegs ever.

How does McFarlane compare to Hasbro Marvel Legends quality and articulation?

I watched a few Mattel DC Multiverse reviews and the hip articulation and stuff looked weird compared to what Hasbro makes.

Honestly I don't know what "Tomica" is

I dont know if I have any Japanese cars besides the new Civic Type R..

I dont collect them for value or anything. I like to display them over my fireplace shelf.

I mostly go for Mustangs, Camaros, Batmobiles, and I go for military vehicles.

I also open them up out of the packages.

I'll snap a pic real quick.

I'm just really into cars. I've been street racing since I was a kid and I drive a Mustang. I also like working on cars.
 
I forgot about my Hotwheels Monster Trucks. I have nearly the whole collection. I have all my chrome monster trucks in my freezer. I've almost run out of space


Tried to upload pics. Its saying file is too large

I have no clue how to make them smaller
