I have a lot of originally packaged Spawn toys and Hot Wheels from the 90s. Also have some newer Funko Pops. Have sold quite a few of those for much more than they were worth.

That's the Cyclops I need for my John Byrne team. Hopefully they'll re-release it individually. That Dark Phoenix face is not bad, but shouldn't Dark Phoenix be more evil and scary looking?

Those Street Fighter ones look straight from the Japanese artist's drawings. You can tell when someone half asses it vs. when someone takes pride in quality craftsmanship.

I recently passed on Beast, Iceman, Silver Samurai, and regret it.

I saw the old Rogue face sculpt looks a lot like Emily Ratajkowski.

Spawn toys are the best - especially series 20 and up. The value still can’t be beat at about $12.99 retail. I sold most of mine when I didn’t have room but started buying them again about $25 each.

The sculpt for the figs and the paint app is better than today’s $25-$30 figures. Even better than $60- $100 statues.

I got a Spawn fig signed by Capullo. Saw Todd McFarlane outside SDCC. Told him I was a big fan and he waved with a big smile. Didn’t wanna bother him too much.

I have pretty much all the GI Joe stuff from when I was a kid including the Aircraft Carrier, the Cobra base thing, and the Space Shuttle thing. Those are the largest ones I can think of. Its all at my dads house in storage. IDK how much it would be worth since it was all heavily played with. Same for Star Wars stuff, have a lot of it.

I just learned a $99/yr Marvel Unlimited Plus subscription gets you a special Marvel Legends figure. I was planning to sub a month or so, but if the coming figure is good, I'll do one year. The current one may have been announced Aug 2018, so maybe the new one is announcing soon.

Past figures were Venomized Punisher, Racoon, Rescue, Tony in suit, Ultron Drone.

I also learned today Hot Wheels has the license to make Toyotas again!

My Sith Trooper arrived, just picked it up. Will get it out properly later, and check all the accessories, run it through some poses at the office

After a bunch of running around, I'm thinking the only way I can buy anything good is by ordering online shortly after release or pre-ordering.

The only things I find in stores are shitty peg warmers that all stores have a ton of.

Pre-ordered tiger stripe Wolverine, Jean, Cyclops jacket 3 pack. The Jean face is just too beautiful. Didn't want to risk the Wolverine not getting re-released as a single pack within the next 2-3 years and if it does it'll be very hard to find so may as well specifically order this here. Pre-ordered Nightcrawler.

Passed on Iceman and Silver Samurai, but might buy later if I find again. I figured if it's an easy decision, buy. If not, pass and hope a better casting will come out later. Not sure what I'm gonna do if I cross paths with 1st appearance Wolverine w/whiskers & Hulk 2 pack. I like the lighter blue, but not the head. Seeing the nicer Toy Biz old Colossus made me pass on Colossus Juggernaut 2 pack.

I saw I think Super7 is making 3.75" MLB legends players, but the face likeness is like they barely made any effort. These days even Mattel WWE Kurt Angle looks like his face, not to mention the actors in Star Wars and Marvel movies having pretty accurate likenesses.

Bought green speedo Namor, Beast, Silver Samurai where there's a "Silver Sam" card variant error, blue costume Dazzler even though the face sculpt is really fugly compared to upcoming 3 pack Jean Grey. Dazzler really needed the "pew pew" alternate hand, and I'm hoping I cross paths with an extra alternate head to swap with this.

Probably not buying anymore Star Wars Black Series after opening the Luke Stormtrooper and seeing how awkward the legs, knees, and ankles were making it hard for it to stand by itself. Most of the Marvel Legends can stand without a peg stand.

Not really any Marvel Legends on the horizon I want to buy that I didn't already pre-order. Definitely ain't buying any older releases at scalper prices.

I saw a couple of videos where people make their own and sell custom Marvel Legends heads for like $50! You gotta be hardcore to buy the figure for $25 and pay $50 for an alternate head.

I saw today Thundercats 7" will be $45 each by Super7! Gotta be hardcore for that too.

It’s a slippery slope, they have such great figures but then yep, you’ll want to keep adding more to the collection
