Is this Anne Hathaway Catwoman? EDIT: I'm guessing it's not.

Kinda want the Page Punchers soft goods cape Superman in classic colors. Seems like they're doing lots of soft goods capes now.

Michelle Piefer Catwoman.

Next up we have this guy I just finished up.

Brand: Sluban
Name: Green Dragon Samurai
Price: $35.99 on Amazon (had a bunch of coupons and discounts that put the price at about 29.95)
Piece count: 704

I've had my eye on this one for quite a while and finally decided to take the plunge. I like the style and how it looked, plus the two different weapons piqued my interest.

Let's get the flaws out of the way.

First up are the hands. Don't like the closed fist style at all since they are so limiting.
They also did a weird design with the elbow joints. They don't rotate at all but are double hinged. A normal ball joint would have been my choice.
They used those damn flat hinges for the knee joints again.
The weapons are WAY too heavy for the joints to hold well, especially the nagata which is super top heavy.
The way they designed the pauldrons makes posing the arms challenging (they used a ball joint for the shoulders that's pretty stiff which doesn't help). I was able to modify them slightly which helps some.

Now for the cool stuff.

The shoulder pauldrons are pretty damn sweet looking.
Love the colors of this mech. The teal green is nicely offset with the gold on the stickers. Not a huge fan of the yellow gold but it works here.
That bow is freaking AWESOME. There are so many joints that let you curve the bow however you want. There's even a place on the back to attach it which changes the look of the mech.
The added light arrow is a nice touch.
It's pretty poseable and stays put nicely (outside of the weapons being heavy).
I appreciate how detailed they made the head.
How they designed the skirting is really good and it allows the legs to move freely.

I really like this one for the most part. Change out the knee and elbow joints, and give me better hands and it really would have made this a great build. The unique bow weapon and those cool pauldrons really bump up the rating for me.

Overall, I would give this an 8 outta 10.

Did somebody say they wanted pictures??? (For some reason the mech looks really blue in the pictures. It has much more of a green tint in person. I think my suck ass lights are washing them out).

Front view. I like the way it's able to be posed like he is about to draw back on the bow.

Nice Darth Maul figure with a tin .
Looks like EU exclusive. I have a thing for tins. If the bookstore has this, I'd buy, but not for $25 USD.

I bought made in China candy in a NES controller tin, a Game Boy tin, a few pieces of Hershey's chocolate inside a black Darth Vader tin.

I'm not the only one who likes tins then ....

I have about 7 or 8 ones I've picked up ,

Around school supply season, Target had a Mandalorian sorta xmas tree shaped tin and similar Darth Vader tin, but they weren't hinged, so didn't buy. At least with the chocolate Darth Vader tin I could put a ribbon around it so it doesn't pop open if dropped.

I also bought these xmas popcorn tins of the 1st Star Wars movies, Avengers, Mandalorian, but the popcorn kinda sucked and a bit stale. There was no internal plastic bags for the popcorn. They just poured the popcorn into the tins with cardboard divider.

At Walmart, I saw a small supply of these small boxes of, I forget the cutesy name of it, I'm guessing small model kits of Transformers and I vaguely remember seeing internet pics of Marvel multi articulation characters. Walmart had Optimus and Megatron, and box cross sell had several others. I need to see some youtube reviews of the Marvel ones. They were under $6 and here Walmart prices are like 50% higher than Amazon prices.

EDIT: From a few youtube vids, Blokees, no paint or glue needed, no stickers. Kinda looks like SD Gundam Cross Silhouette. There's Marvel, Transformers, Star Wars. These aren't Lego type constraction, but good basic likeness model kits. Might be blind box, so would be hard to buy a particular Marvel character. Will try a Marvel one if I see it.

I've bought some artwork from Matthew Lineham before. He did a series of 1980's musicians for Halloween that I picked up.
