Not a huge fan of those either. The heads/faces are wrong. If I was going to get a smaller/cheaper set I would go with the various mechs they have out. Still need to pull the trigger on War Machine.
Yea, I get that , I'm not too impressed with the heads on a couple of the figures or the body shape looks a bit 'off'.
There's a few characters I wouldn't have paid full price for but got given as presents or ( like Captain and Wolvie ) got on a sufficient discount that I can overlook that flaw(s).
. I think it's a lot easier on characters like Spidey or Venom. The Wolverine set is ok but you kind of expect him to be snarling or angry so that's easy enough.
And of course , a nice large box turned up today with my Ghost rider in it ... whilst I was out and my wife took it in... thankfully I was out shopping for her (her health isn't great) plus shopping should be a male job anyway, it's a hunter kind of thing !!
Luckily I walked back in with duck eggs, meatballs, two different types of sweets/ candies she wanted along with getting her coffee this morning so she didn't complain too much.
In other news, I've kind of moved into my son's room as he is at University and it's easier with my shifts to sleep in there . Anyway, as you can guess it's becoming nerdified with Marvel Legends dotted around, 2000AD bits and pieces and D and D retro stuff . Anyway, my 20 year old turned to me tonight and said " Yea, my old bedroom is actually the best room in the house now I reckon...'
I'll take that as a win.
