Storm Shadow is one of my favorite characters of anything of all time.

...and when it comes to GI Joe, there's a lot of other characters I'm a big fan of. It's been pretty easy avoiding the Classified line because it's just not my style/size of GI Joe. Haven't bought any Storm Shadows, BATs, Beach Heads, Chuckleses, Croc Masters, Shockwaves, Stalkers, Vipers, etc.

But there's a big chance I buy ole Big Boa:

Skipping Classified regular white or Retro white Stormshadow is a mistake.

I bought the movie SS, arctic snow SS, and the V1 white SS. I even bought the Super7 ReAction V1 SS.

I have V1 o-ring Big Boa and will pre-order Classified version even though I didn't like their interpretation of his unmasked face. He doesn't need to be a dumb oaf.

I almost bought those SSs but I have avoided the Classfied line in general, more into the old 3¾ Joes. Big Boa is just so absurd that it works for me.

Make an exception.

I'm mostly buying characters I had as a kid in o-ring version or ones I wanted but never could find in stores like Snake Eyes, Quick Kick, Beachhead, Flint. I wish I had high def video of checking the pegs as a kid. I'd like to see which ones I could have bought, but skipped.

Would you buy Tomax & Xamot if $5.99 each? Can be found that cheap now.

just got back from Minus One & i’m heavily contemplating taking the Super7 survey so i can get 15% off on the Toho Ultimates Godzilla -1 figure

Seems there was a recent announcement Super7 is doing GI Joe o-ring late 2024. Haven't heard if they will be using Hasbro's magical silicone o-rings that are supposed to last a lifetime. Sounded like the intent was to make them able to swap parts. Should be a Bryan Flynn interview with Full Force podcast this Tues or so. The Pixel Dan interview was marked as private.

Also watched some GI Joe youtube rumor video where the guy said 4" modern figures will be making a comeback from Hasbro via either Fan Channel or Figure Subscription Service. The youtube guy said that's why the HIYA Toys 4" Joes can't be sold in USA without going thru Asian retail sellers.

I also read somewhere, maybe youtube comments, there was a comic convention interview with Lenny where it sounded like HasLab Rattler, Classified Skystriker were no longer off the table.

I saw this adult flipper hoarding like 10 or so Star Wars TVC figures. Couldn't see what they were or the price. There was none left on the shelves.

Saw retro cardback White Vision for $5.99, same price for Vulcan, maybe Darwin, Loki, Quake.

Ordered the "giant" Bowser from the SMB movie on Amazon since it was down a few bucks since it came out.
Amazon sent it in an oversized box with no padding so the figure's packaging was smashed in. Cool. Cool.

Send it BACK! I got sent a Titanium Man and its box was wrecked to heck and gone. Pro-Tip: Strychnine don't do no smashed boxes! Just tell them that your packaging was damaged, and they'll send you a new one and pay for the return shipping of the wrecked one.

GI Joe Hasbro stream 12/7 11a ET.

I watched the PIXEL DAN youtube interview o-ring announcement with Brian Flynn and didn't seem like any good questions were asked. I'm curious if the peg holes, etc. will be compatible with the originals, what improvements will Super7 make, are they going with decent detailed face and head sculpts like some ReAction or dopey crude faces like original, o-ring rubber durability.

I saw for o-ring, someone made a 3D printed adapter to let you use modern Marauder Task Force type heads on o-ring bodies. I would have loved that freedom as a kid.

I searched youtube to try to find a vid of the o-ring to modern 3D printed neck adapter to allow modern heads on o-ring torsos and didn't find any but did find one video of adapter that works with the original big GI Joes and the newer modern big expensive Sideshow(?) ones where there's a neck adapter and hand adapter.

SquareEnix is releasing FF7 figures based on the original art from the 1997 game. Looks like I'm about to be out $390 plus tax and shipping (gotta at least get Cloud, Tifa, and Barret).

Save yourself some money.

There is a Super Powers Hal Jordan for pre-order.

Who's superior Hal or John Stewart (already have)?

Finally opened first o-ring Joe from the HasLab Skystriker: Failsafe. Wouldn't mind swapping the head with one that looks like Maverick.
