$199 HasLab Giant Man price has my attention. I'd like to see it side by side with Galactus and Sentinel. I hope every joint has ratcheting. Can't imagine it isn't hollow.

Glad that one of their "learnings" was make it cheaper.

Yeah, at the price of $199, it's definitely worth a hard look. If the box and extras are good, I'm in.

Lol, I thought I was going to be the only one really fussed about the box.... I'd like one that I can actually put him in and out of, no blister fronts where you ruin the box opening it. Plus it's gotta look good..

Also, would have been cool if they had done a Wasp figure , they have most Avengers in retro style , would have been a cool 14,000 backers get an original Wasp

i would’ve given a hesitant look if the price was $149.99

but tbh i simply just don’t really give a fuck about Giant Man & don’t find him to be a necessary inclusion in my collection. i’m happy w/ my ML Civil War premium figure version of the character because it’s the only version i have any relation to, & it doesn’t take up a ton of space

What do you collect?

first & foremost, i’m a collector of things—anything i’m a fan of across all forms of media/entertainment/pop culture & anything that catches my fancy or impulse. but i’d say Spider-Mens & Spidey-adjacent stuffs mostly, because they account for a bulk of my collection

Well the box for the Sentinel from way back was very nicely done. They'll probably go that same route. Don't fix what ain't broke... I hope!

There's this Japanese supermarket here sorta like Target. When you first enter, they have a big area setup as Gunpla Fair with a very big selection of Gunpla including what looks like the monochrome boxes of Premium Bandai. What was unusual was they had this huge Gunpla display of some sort of Gundam with a long tail that was like the size of a large human. That's something I'd only expect to see in Japan.

I think the same Japanese owner owns a chain of local grocery stores, so inside there they also have smaller selections of Gunpla.

BRUH!

Pics! :)

Looks like Hasbro learned their lesson after the Engine of Vengeance debacle. I'm still flabbergasted to this day that they wanted $350 for a plastic car with light up features and a standard Marvel Legends figure.

$199.99 crowd raising. 60cm high.

As is normal, more backers- more cash- more options/ add ones.

I looked at that and saw it failed to get it's backers. Reckon I know why now.

That Galactus figure was epic though. @Smokes you lucky guy...

Apparently two diff stores had a diff human sized giant Gunpla. I saw the second one with the tail.

The second one is Gundam Epyon. It's B@d@$$! I've been looking for a fix-figuration type (high grade action-figure) that's not in the triple digits.

I did manage to snag an Infinite Justice Gundam Fix Figuration when I was stationed in Okinawa. Man, I was at the Toys R Us Gundam Aisle every payday.

I don't think I ever heard of Fix Figuration. That Don Quijote store has all sorts of Gundam stuff, SHF, Converge. I'll see if they have that next time. I think they also had some One Piece kits. They had that Gunpla sprue wallpaper on the columns and floor.

I've been to one Japanese Toys R Us maybe around the corner of Ueno, I forget. I wasn't buying the same stuff I buy now at the time. I was only looking for DBZ and maybe Macross 7. The DBZ figures at that time were really crude with maybe only neck and shoulders articulation. The SSJ Goku is now really nasty and sticky.
