Social Toy Collectors Thread

Was holding out for classic TV Spock, but at clearance $6, I had to buy the Playmates(?) 5" movie Spock.

Checked for cheap ML Ch'od BAF wave figures hoping for bigger clearance discount, but they put the clearance price sticker w/o barcode over the regular barcode. WTF? Can't scan that, and the employees are known to be too lazy to slap a new sticker on and just adjust the price linked to the original barcode.

i think i’m gonna have to go w/ Ranni because it was the age of the stars ending that capped off the first playthrough for me. & y’all know there ain’t anything quite like your first playthrough of a Miyazaki fromsoft game
 
Macy's Toys R Us had Marvel Legends 3.75 latest last wave on clearance for around $6, so got Dr. Doom. Good thing I was gonna skip it when it was on Amazon at full price. Couldn't buy Luke Cage with the tiny head. The older wave was regular price.
 
Pre-ordered ML X-Men 97 Wolverine (mask ears too big), Bishop, Magneto.

Opened recent Gray Hulk. This thing is huge. Bigger than MCU Endgame BAF Hulk. The wrist pegs seem thinner than I would have guessed after seeing other big figure wrist pegs.
 
Recently HIYA Toys revealed their Firefly which looks like a shrunken GIJ CS 6" fatsuit Firefly. The Flint and Snake Eyes also look like shrunken Classified version. Seems like still no USA distribution and no shipping by Asian retailers to USA. Haven't yet seen any that I really want to pursue, so just as well.

I'm just going to get the One:12 collective Firefly. I really like it. I haven't seen any others like it that tickle my fancy.

Picked this up today for about £6.50 or $8 .


I've started picking up non retro Marvel legends as long as they look like the characters from the comics. So , Doctor Strange that's modelled on Benedict Cumberland Sausage probably won't get a look in. Whereas Shriek does now , as long as the price is reasonable....

Macy's Toys R Us now has a Super7 area. Only saw one Disney Ultimates and one Power Rangers Ultimates. No Marvel Legends. One area where they stocked too much garbage that no one wants to buy.

At Target, saw single pack McF comic Blue Beetle. A while back I got the Blue Beetle Booster Gold two pack for $20 clearance.

A few years ago Walmart had exclusive comic Dr. Strange with two extra heads, one double ended adult toy. Very nice.
