Have you ever been to a comic Con? Everything there is a copyright infringement. Shit is crazy
Nah, I don't care for crowds of people, especially under-washed and under-laundered crowds of people.

So what's your paint process like? Basic base coat, drybrush, wash?

I am still learning and trying out things but so far I do like 2-3 coats of dark grey(base) and then one coat of a black wash. I use 75% water and 20% paint and one drop of dish water soap for the final wash. Let the wash soak in all the cracks and the. paper towel the top so the base coats shows.

I don’t have fine brush skill, so I have to let the was get in the details.

The weapons rack came out cool.

A good wash can work wonders. That's a pretty common formula that's used even by professional prop makers. Drybrushing doesn't take much brush skill and can be done with a simple chip brush. You load up a bit of a lighter color for highlight, then brush almost all of the paint off onto a towel, then gently dust the brush over the piece so you only get a little bit of paint on the high spots. It's a very forgiving process because you can unload the brush so much that you're only adding very subtle amounts of paint at a time.

For anybody who might not know how much a wash can make something pop, here's an example from something I did. The only difference between the two is the bronze parts and silver on the rivets, the rest of it is entirely an oil color wash*

It's a steep learning curve, and your first attempts are almost always going to be dogshit. But it can be rewarding. This is the biggest (in both size and time investment) project that I've done:

Literal years, start to finish. 3D printed Lucius Pattern Warlord Titan for Warhammer 40k. It's about 26" tall to the top of the guns. The conversion from Mars Pattern to Lucius pattern was done entirely by me (armor plating, head, upper portion of body), but the base files (which, to be fair, are the majority of the project) were from a since-removed file on Thingiverse.

I've got the solo symbiote spidey already but delighted to have another as I can take one out....same with the Torch and The Thing figures , I bought them as a full set of FF4 several months ago but love the Thing so happy for another to bring out....

Spidey and Carnage I'll open up the box and see how they packaged...

The Hawkman I got as I thought he looked cool . Apart from the cheap Batman 4 inch figures x 4 I have he's the only DC stuff I have I think. Not really a huge DC fan.

The Black Cat in that style , that's the only one I have in that packaging/ BAF . Might have a look at the prices of the rest of it to see if I pick them up...

I think Kingpin (white suit) BAF parts are really expensive. I have one leg from Night Thrasher and the connection to torso's upper thigh is different from Mr. Hyde and Joe Fixit and it's not the same leg mold.

There's supposed to be a MCU black suit Kingpin coming soon.

Cheers for that. I've had a look at the BAF Kingpin and I just prefer the look of the retro Kingpin so I'll probably pay a visit to evilbay at some stage...

I got a Kingpin head for somewhat ok price and put it on Joe Fixit suit body. I put Mr. Hyde's hands on Joe Fixit. That'll do until the MCU Netflix Kingpin comes out.

The Joe Fixit BAF wave figures were available without too much trouble for $9.99 each. Once I found the high demand Kang, it was go time.

I shouldn't have pursued Mr. Hyde because that suit looks whack.
