Loads of the guys I work with own model train systems. It's fairly common to come to work and someone will be sat down with paint, etc and be working on something from their set...

Of course if I came in with my Spider-man figures and started posing them they'd think I was mad...

But post them up ?

I have a sizeable portion of my grandfathers collection. He had a gigantic layout he was building for like 50 years.

I'm not very technically inclined I just like talking about the locomotives and their history:)

I'm a boat person generally but they don't have a strong model culture like trains do.

I generally prefer the older stuff like steam. I got a few crocs, electrics and diesels too. But I don't have any EMU's except the ICE3M. I don't know what country the rainbow is in but I can't really tell what unit you've got there. I think maybe it's British?

Yea, it's a class 158 in Britain.

Is it possible Amazon quickly sold out pre-orders for today's Marvel Legends Avengers wave Capt America, Wonder Man, and the Hydra bald guy?

I never read the comics of this Capt Am, but costume looks good in traditional colors.

Hydra bald guy would be Baron Strucker i assume.

I'm not into cars but I almost bought a 2020 Toyota Supra that was done up in "Skull Squadron" colors from Macross. it came with a Roy Fokker figure holding his helmet.

My local Target has them.

Turns out Amazon didn't sell out, but the Capt Am, Wonder Man, Strucker just wouldn't turn up in search results. You needed the direct links.

Only ordered Ultimate Cap Am.

I usually filter to just show Amazon as seller, but noticed sometimes with that there are things that still don't show up in results where Amazon is the seller.

I read there was a settlement between Robotech and Macross to allow stuff to be sold in US of A.

I've been waiting for pre-Black Fri to buy ML Havok and suddenly Best Buy dropped it to $19.99 and had a coupon for $5 off of that they sent in some xmas idea pamphlet.

Tried earlier to use the coupon in stores and very slim pickings. One Best Buy reduced their movie disc section size.

Amazon has the worst search engine out of any of the big retail sites. I can type in the exact name of the product and the category and I'll have to sort through pages to find what I'm looking for. I usually just use Google for Amazon searches and get to the product page that way.

I’ve noticed that too. I think they’re getting greedy with ads. I search for McFarlane toys and the first listing is an ad for Lego Batman. Wtf. Then scrolling down, there’s several toy ads that has nothing to do with McFarlane.

That whole thing is convoluted. I'm sure a diehard fan, that truly understands all of it, could practice international law.
