Having owned a Jack Russell Terrier, I would say if that dog was the size of a pit bull they would be the most badasss and feared dog on earth...

Yea, that's because they've been heavily cross bred with bullbreed dogs.

It's either small pitbulls, JRT's or Patterdale terriers and that's all because they're all the distant descendants of game (bull breed) bait dogs. Super shit thread and I don't think these dogs have a place in modern society.

Those dogs have a few choice Google photos, but basically they're like bigger, furrier Bernese Mountain Dogs. They're a little temperamental with regard to loyalty to their owners but they aren't all that badass. Just big fluffy hug monsters.

I wouldn't own a JRT if I had small children, but I think they're amazing dogs. Their athletic ability P4P is unmatched IMO

Why wouldn't you? Malinois are trained to keep their attack going even when hit and with guns firing. If that doesn't define tough, please tell me what does. Malinois will not let you go, even if you try to hit it with bats and shit.

Lol dream on. I know from experience how mine is with other dogs, unfortunatly I have experienced a pitbull from down the street (which is roughly the same size as my Malinois) walk over to us while I was walking mine. Whén my dog is on the leash he is very defensive. No leash, he will play. Leash he will defend. So, the pitbull did not have a line and came over. Stupid fucking dogs started fighting. Long story short, it was just 'play/warning' biting from both, but a Malinois will not back down from a pitbull or any other dog. And since they're quitte big, strong and fast I don't see a 15lb jack having ANY chance against a Malinois, who weighs about 60lb.

In terms of fighting, it's the pitbull over all breeds, as it's bred to fight and can end it with a single bite. But general toughness, there are not a lot of tougher dogs then Malinois and pitbulls.

Patterdale terriers p4p would have to be the toughest dogs, they will out work a Jack Russell and are game to the death,
