Topuria is the best trash talker right now, by far

Anyone who desperately TRIES to talk trash (Conor, Colby, Ian Garry, etc) is not a good trash talker.
They just look hyper and needy. They're just sad attention-seekers.

On the other hand, Islam, who is calm and giggly when making fun of other fights, to me, he is the best trash talker in the UFC.

Yes, talking shit is what makes me want to watch fights that I otherwise don't care about. There is a reason Conor made the sport so popular, people sharing clips of him talking shit and being funny.
 
he is the worst trashtalker by far.
he rustles jimmies for all the wrong reasons. Nobody comes off impressed by his actual trash talk, and instead criticizes him for being a douche

I don't think Ilia is the best talker and sometimes he is even a bit cringe because he goes over the top...but he dished it out pretty good to Conor this week:

I just posted that too. Will be interesting to see what Conor says about ilia after all that shit talk. Not that it matters those 2 guys are so far off in weight class. Topuria would have to go to 155 to fight him and Conor would have to cut a lot at this point.

if you go deep into the mental brain of trash talkers, they are the opposite of mentally strong, they are mentally weak but want to make the outside world believe otherwise. jones, fedor, khanib, pereira, gsp, anderson silva were not trash talkers. with their actions they showed how strong they are mentally.

Yup and won’t it be a huge moment if max wins that fight and even worse finishes ilia can you imagine what ilia will say after that ? And max won’t need to say a single thing but smile. And can you imagine what all the other guys ilia talked shit about are going to say. A huge fall could be coming with all the shit being said by him. You can talk all the shit you want , but if you don’t win you are in for a really bad reaming by many and badly. Not saying ilia isn’t gong to win, but he is writing checks his butt better be able to deliver or it’s going to be really bad for him.
 
There's a difference between trash talking and being good at it. Chael, Conor, and Bisping were good at trash talking. Topuria is very mid and the things he is saying aren't memorable. He's just obnoxious and unlikeable. Even Belal is better at trash talking than him.
