Its to early to say...he has potential thats for sure.

But i remember people saying the same about Conor before he fought Nate Diaz,,, about Khamzat before he fought Gilbert... lets wait and see.

One of his next fights has to be a younger up-and-comer like Movsar or Paddy

No he's not. He's not even the least hit fighter in his own fights. Volk outlanded him, Max outlanded him, Jai Hubert outlanded him, even Bryce MItchell outlanded him in the standup, and so did the guy in his debut.

It's perfectly fine to say he has more punching power than his opponents and needs fewer shots to win without making silly claims like "the least hit FW".

He’s definitely nearing goat FW status. He ended the careers of Volk and Max with a single punch each. That is significant.

To interpret the claim in the most favorable light, Topuria's significant strike defense rate would place him second among either current UFC FWs or LWs. Of course he forces a high pace in his fights, so he ends up absorbing almost four significant strikes a minute, a thoroughly average number. Other fighters with Topuria's kind of defense rate get hit a lot less often than he does.

That's not the same as least hit. They're all sitting around 60%. Holloway is at 59% and he holds the record for eating the most sig strikes in the UFC. Ryan Hall is at 65%

Arman is the litmus test for me on Ilia's "deadliness". Not because I believe Arman is some great lightweight, no, but he's still young, wasn't KTFO recently, doesn't have all that mileage etc.

Arman is also a short dude, so it will be mostly a clash of skills.
 
ilia’s got grenades in those hands but eventually someone will figure him out, not surprised Paddy will get the job done.
