Love the logic, RdR and Jiri were successful, therefore, everyone else must also be on the same level. This must also mean that Musaev beat a couple of unranked fighters, so therefore, he is surely top 3. Lets ignore the vast majority of fighters who have recently proven they were not the level everyone thought they were.

We can come up with an excuse for every single "top guy" who was embarrassed. But, for example, Tofiq was a RIZIN LW and GP champion. He was also a Bellator top fighter. Last week he got embarrassed in his hometown by some random unranked fighter.

Chandler, Patricio, Mix, Tofiq, all the recent Bellator "elites" got fraud checked. Only MVP and Kayla have had a good run in the UFC. Everyone else embarrassed themselves.

Chandler, Patricop, and Tofiq are all in their late stages of career. It would be like signing an aging Gilbert Burns and saying UFC fighters are getting fraud checked.

There's also Eblen having that absolutely terrible performance against Impa, and I say that as an Eblen truther who has picked him in all of his fights. As well as Will Brooks back in the day, or Lyman Good not even making it into the TUF house, or Lombard never being a real contender at MW and then getting all his fight sapped away after getting caught roiding vs Burkman. Also Held, getting robbed vs Lauzon and caught by a hail mary is unlucky, but losing to an old Diego? Fraud check.

Johnny should not have struggled as mightily as he did with someone the caliber of Kasanganay. Fight even made me think Impa had matured into an elite fighter, but with Yags and Fabian doing him the way they did, and even Nedoh nearly finishing him, it's very clear Impa is not all that and it reflects poorly on Johnny.

Not every crossover fighter will be a Patchy, but contenders from outside the UFC get overrated and underrated at the same time by different groups of people is a funny thing.

I do think Musaev passes the eye test, as does Nemkov. Kuramagomedov doesn't imo, though maybe I'm too harsh for him having gone life and death with Jordan years ago.

Usman and Hughes should translate well. AJ I think I've given up on even if he went back to FW, the Pitbull rematch was just a really bad look. Movlid almost lost to Kennedy and already got finished once by Pineda (even with roids I think Daniel was just a gatekeeper at best), Jesus had a bad stint in the UFC though he obviously seems like a completely different fighter and his aggression and power make it hard to see him be a non-factor if he were to get signed again.

BW has no street cred left after Patchy lost. Stots is old, Sergio is a Flyweight and Magomed was always a silver medalist when it mattered.

LHW seems like it'll be the Phil Davis show this season. Yags should rematch Corey to see if he's really made strides or is simply facing easier comp.

HW might get redeemed by Delija, but otherwise there's no one. Goltsov has always been flawed despite being a fun fighter, I do not buy that he's improved from his previous losses but rather think that him finally winning a season is due to the talent pool becoming shallower and shallower. Popov is mid, Moldavsky is mid, Sergey is mid (but fun at least).
