I have had these gloves for a little while but have seen very little use. I purchased them from Kstar Gear. I do not remember the price but I do remember that Kstar was a great place to deal with.

Everybody knows Top King so I'm not going to go too much into these. I am a Thai glove fan over all. I own Boon, Windy and Twins so it was necessary to own some of these.

Construction
-----------------
Flawless!! From the smooth leather to the logo to the stitching.....I cannot find a damn thing wrong with these gloves. The inner liner is nice and not too excess.

Fit
----
Ouch!!! These are the most snug gloves I own. Now granted I havent used them enough to break them in. Im not sure if they will stay snug or loosen up a bit. I need to put them in regular rotation. The thumb is very well placed. The finger compartment is perfect.

Performance
-----------------
I have not used these alot but when I have....the performance is excellent. The padding is not too dense but not too soft. Great protection on the heavy bag. Nice pop. Wrist support is dead on. The mesh in the palm(hence the Super air) keeps the hands cooler than other gloves. They also dry out rather quickly. I cannot comment on sparring.....but the padding is soft enough to where I dont see this being a problem.

Conclusion
--------------
Like I said above....everybody knows Top King. This is why I didnt go into alot of detail. All in all these are extremely well made gloves!!!! I do recommend these even though they are snug as hell. I will use them more to see if anything loosens up and will update accordingly.

Here are some lousy iphone pics. Comments always welcomed and appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this:

You should go into more detail while people are familiar with brands the whole point of a review is to give YOUR insight on the glove and the pros and cons of it based on YOUR personal experience with the gear.

I think you should elaborate a lot more.

because if it was based on "Everyone knows Top King" youd be surprised how many people are quite unfamiliar with the brand.

The flipside would be "Everyone knows Everlast!" To the average Joe at the gym or for the 1st time user here they go in here thinking Everlast is a solid brand when time has shown that it has not.

Also you need to educate the boxers, MMA strikers, or people unfamiliar with Top King, sure it may be a popular Thai Brand but what about to the MMA guys, what about the Boxers? They will be like Top Wha?

One more suggestion: put'em next your other Thai gloves for a photographic size comparison! :D

I'd say that I like my gloves like unlike my women but it prefer a looser hand compartment on my gloves
So.....

Have you sparred with these. If so, are they protective of your training partners?

No...I havent sparred in them. Im going to start using them alot more and I will update. Sparring is on the list. The padding is semi-pillowy in my opinion. Softer than my Boon's but not as pillowy as my Twins.

Here you go bud:

The Boon's look larger but I assure you are compact feeling on the hands. Very comfy. My number 1 glove out of the 4.

Those Boons are great looking gloves!

Thanks for the review, have you tried the Twins "air" at all?

So for those of you who have used TK, does the hand compartment break in over time and get roomier? A guy at the gym had some brand new 16 oz TK Super Stars that I tried on, and damn those things were uncomfortably tight, even without wraps.

just picked up a pair of Top King 14s this week while i was in BKK and i LOVE them. i have a pair of Windy 14s that look kinda like the ones in your pic and they hurt my right hand after every session for some reason. bought them months ago and went back to using my shitty Everlast 16s i bought years ago when i started MT because of the pain. do you ever have any issues with the Windys and your hands hurting? do i have to break them in specially or something? either way, i doubt theyll get much use with the Top Kings around now.

My Windy's haven't gotten a whole lot of use but no hand pain so far.

*Update*

So after my last post I took these gloves and stuffed socks in them. Left them like that until yesterday. Wrapped my hands and put these on just to hit the bag in my garage for a few rounds. Low and behold they were actually comfortable. The stuffing seemed to stretch them out just enough to where my wrapped hand was still snug but not anaconda squeeze tight like they used to be. Back into rotation these go.
