Media Tony Ferguson: "When Khabib left, a little part of me left with that."

He's probably telling the truth, but there's likely a part of him that's just trying to cope with this sad string of losses he has.
He's in the midst of that sorry state of athletes finding it difficult to accept the fact that they no longer have it.
I'm glad he's still getting opportunities to compete and earn money but sooner rather than later his family or the UFC has to finally pull the plug.
We say this about a bunch of fighters but this is probably the truest with Ferguson.

You actually get worse at most things the older you get, seniority saves a lot of people in other professions.

sure, if you're like 80 yrs old. but there's definitely a time frame where you'll keep getting better for years, probably decades especiallyv depending on the physicality of your job. there is no such thing as that in professional sports. anything after you're 30 is borrowed time.

Dana's going to lose one of his few cash cows if Paddy loses, and he just might.

Yes, he's on a 6 fight losing streak, but apart from Green, the other 5 that beat him were guys that Paddy is likely never going to be good enough to even face at any point in his career.
Tony's 39 years old and on a six-fight losing streak where he's taken a completely insane amount of damage. It's doubtful his body is in good enough shape for him to beat even PP. He certainly might, but as a general rule no good comes to fighters of his age who've had his history of damage.

Tony has a wheelchair in his near future.

Paddy finishes him in the first round and Tony will look old as shit. I hope I’m wrong though.

This lol.

I don't know why so many people are counting Tony out in this fight.

Yes, he's on a 6 fight losing streak, but apart from Green, the other 5 that beat him were guys that Paddy is likely never going to be good enough to even face at any point in his career.

Paddy is an enormous step down in comp for Tony.
He is but I think most people believe Tony is so shot at this point that he can't beat anyone in the UFC.

I don't think I've ever seen Tony so self aware in an interview before. I especially liked the way he acknowledged that it's "fucked up" that he's on a 6 fight losing streak and versing a guy on a 6 fight winning streak. I was expecting the same "I'm in my prime" bs that we come to expect from him

Shit, maybe Tony actually gets it done here.

Can't stand either guy so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to feel. A double ko would make me cum all over the place

Everybody secretly misses Khabib, even his haters on here. They are just having trouble coming to grips with that reality

Why was this merged he's talking about two completely different topics and it was the first time he's talked about the Paddy fight.

Dumbass mod.
