Media Tony Ferguson: "When Khabib left, a little part of me left with that."

It's amazing how coherent he sounds at times. Cant deny the guys a natural on the mic irrespective of what hes talking about.

Must be wild to have trained for literally years to face one guy, go through the injuries, the pull outs and then nothing, no resolution

that's the first thing that came to my mind, "damn, Tony sounds clear headed and god forbid .....normal"

It's a massive tragedy this fight never happened. The most cursed fight of all time. I don't care if people lost interest because of where Tony is now and he lost to this fighter and that fighter and obviously Khabib would have smashed him in hindsight. We were supposed to see one of them lost to each other at their peak.

Damn, you can feel the respect he has for Khabib.
That's actually a fuckin sad video, he almost pulled a tear out of me ffs lol.

Competition becomes the only thing some of these cats know, and they don't know how to walk away when the time comes.

Its tough to give your whole life to something and eve when it gives back it never seems like enough.

Much love to Tony, I hope he can navigate this next chapter of his life.
(Bows in respect)

totally agree, it's tough to give your whole life to something that's also slowly destroying you physically. in most things in life, the longer you do it the better you get. it must be frustrating to NOT be getting better but actually getting worse the longer you do it.

Imagine going from being the guy to potentially beat Khabib to getting subbed by bobby green.

Yeah that shit has to be damaging to your heart (love of the thing), to your soul, and nevermind the damage you accrue over time which also adds to the physical decline.

All the way around, a nightmare of a scenario sir.

Yeah Tony lost his virginity to Khabib so he will always keep a piece of him

You actually get worse at most things the older you get, seniority saves a lot of people in other professions.

The worse thing for Tony is a win against Paddy. He needs to lose badly and so brutally that he has to accept his career is over, I’m thinking leg break.

Paddy sux, this is like a 50/50 fight, Tony ain’t some huge dog.

This lol.

I don't know why so many people are counting Tony out in this fight.

Yes, he's on a 6 fight losing streak, but apart from Green, the other 5 that beat him were guys that Paddy is likely never going to be good enough to even face at any point in his career.

Paddy is an enormous step down in comp for Tony.
