Portuguese is very different from Spanish and Portugal is not a province of Spain. Portuguese (PT) is different from Brazilian (BR) Portuguese, while we do understand each other perfectly, there are a lot of differences in words, how some are written and the accent.

It's not. I'm a Blackbelt in bjj and speak Spanish and Portuguese. I'm around alot of Brazilians who pick up Spanish very easy.

I think Diego and Diaz Bros can't even speak spanish. It is weird but I met a few second generation Mexican people in Cali and they don't speak Spanish at all but by all means their culture and neighborhood are all Mexican. It's not like they moved out of their area and got white washed
