We got to see a newer more focused version of Conor against Cerrone where he went up in weight for the 4th time and won via TKO. Conor is the best win that Khabib has on his record and that's a fact that both he, his management, and the fans know. Conor is constantly mentioned by Khabib and his team because they need his name to stay relevant and pretend like they're not interested in a rematch when the truth is that they will not turn down that much money. If Conor coming off a two year lay off and foot injury was still able to perform well in the fight then a more disciplined and active injury free Conor will be too much to handle and he will win via KO/TKO

Khabib's own team have said that he can get as high up as 95 kilos which is 209lbs

Conor has never taken a short notice fight ever, please dont bring up Nate as Conor had a full camp. The only true short notice fights were his opponents.

I can't speak for anybody else but I want it to be clear that I have nothing against Khabib's religion or with him personally. My only opinion of him as a fighter is that:

- He is overrated as a fighter and has a padded record ( not saying his grapple-heavy style isn't effective )
- He fought Conor at the perfect time when he was injured and coming back after a two year lay off
- He wants to be seen as a great fighter but is reluctant to move up to 170 where Conor has already fought three times

Conor started his UFC career at featherweight and has wins at both 155 and 170 which is impressive in itself. Conor also has millions of dollars and is set for life and never has to fight again but still chose to return at UFC 229 and recently against Cerrone where he looked better than ever. Conor has said that he is pushing for the rematch and I believe that if it does happen he will win and become lightweight champion again. Even if it's a fight against Tony or Gaethje or even Masvidal I can see Conor coming out on top
