Media Ex- Bellator BW Anthony Taylor will now step in to fight Darren Till at HW

Jake Paul's marketability is a different thing entirely and will hold up regardless.

But, they want that Fury win back and it won't look as good if Fury goes out and has a tough fight against Till.

BS, Paul has been fighting people who have been looking way worse than having a had tough fight with talented strikers.

And having a tough fight with a talented striker > running away from a talented striker before a match could even happen.

And there's a very strong chance of that happening.

In the interest of preserving the full potential of that rematch, I think there would likely be pressure from both sides to drop the Till fight

Presumably, based on some kind of relative agreement behind the scenes.

They wouldn't drop it over random kick threats, it's just an excuse. It only makes sense if there's something bigger in the works.

And for Fury it would be better to get some activity in prep for Paul, a fight that would probably still be on the table even if he loses, than no fight and a massive blow to his image, in prep for Paul

Why would Till giving Fury a tough fight take steam away from Fury as an opponent for Paul, when Paul has been facing the elderly and non-boxers almost exclusively? Besides branding yourself as a coward doesn't make for great marketing either.

Even if he loses to Till, Paul doesn't care about him being undefeated or not. Dude fights people on lossing streaks all the time, and Fury would still have that W over him he wants to get back.

And having an actual fight and being active is a good way to prepare for another big fight with Paul.
Fury is probably one of Jake's biggest fights in terms of bringing credibility to his skillset

And he's good enough to get that one back at this point.

If Fury lost or had a tough fight with Till, then it would be just another fight people undermine on Jake's record.

Speaking in terms of business on both sides, it makes a lot of sense to preserve that fight.

This isn't an uncommon story/ theme in combat sports. Lots of fights get canceled to procure ones that make more sense in the larger scope of things.

Bruh, i really don't think people would care that much if Fury vs Till would be a tough fight. It's not like Fury has been looking like a world beater before.

It's all business bro

These things don't seem like they matter, but they do if you're in the business of marketing and promoting fights, building up names, etc.

It's like Tony when he took fights instead of waiting for Khabib. There's a lot that can go wrong and it can kill the potential of a fight in so many ways.

There's a bunch of examples of this.

but we'll see what happens. Just don't be surprised if they announce the rematch shortly into the new year.

I doubt they would've pulled the fight unless something bigger had just came to fruition behind the scenes.

@AstralPanda I think it's more likely that his dad believed Till and thought this might happen if Till started losing.

And he forced his son to pull out, than that they were afraid it might be a good fight.

Yeah, and you are ignoring the major marketing blow of being branded a coward.

Like I said, that's probably on the table regardless. If it happens, it won't prove your point.

And you know this how?

Contracts in place. Agreements made behind the scenes. All parties involved probably talk to each other off record and are chill before they even start promoting it. A fight at that level is basically 2 business partners and their teams coming together.

I have a hard time thinking they would ever believe Till would put his entire fighting career at risk over nothing, fumble his bag, end up putting himself in jail.

I think it was just a good excuse to pull out because something bigger is in the works.

But I guess we'll see

What point are you making? That teams communicate and have contacts made? Why do you think this is necessary to tell me?

Bruh, lots of boxers have all kinds of resentments and fears/insecirities/anxiety when it comes to facing MMA fighters.
It's hard to feel like a badass if you know a guy could easily take you down and have his way with you. They really, really put a lot of importance on the rules protecting them from all that scary stuff.

I doubt we'll see. But we can agree to disagree.

You literally quote every fucking post I make under multiple accounts you fucking loser. ha ha ha

oh and yeah I am definitely rustling some jimmies up in hur.

<lmao>

You keep accusing me of fucking with you from multiple accounts. Paranoid much? What other accounts do you think I'm using? You don't actually believe I'm @Ares Black do you?

The sweet science of getting offended and bailing out.
Till imho lost a big payday from his smart ass reply in a pre-fight interview. He said, in effect, if he started getting beat he would turn to using his MMA skills.

After Fury heard Till's plan, he got skeered and ran away from Till's boxing match.

Weak AF imho Fury didn't have the balls to go through with the fight anyway.

It wouldn't surprise me if John now wonders if Tommy was even his real son. :(

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

A Reality show "Watch Our Fury" would make major bank.
Imagine covering the house while John, after Tommy cancels a scheduled fight, questions his wife of being unfaithful - because no one from his loins would Ever back out of a fight.

John requests that Tommy go with him to town for a paternity test, Tommy refuses.

John display his FURY by threatening to gouge out one Tommy's eyes if he refuses to go with him to take a DNA test.

Tyson is having a pint and can't stop laughing while Tommy is freaking out and running for his life as John chases him around the house.

Next week on Watch Our FURY

Fictional writing, no plans at all to continue.

Calling an actual professional Boxer a bitch from behind a computer screen.. comical at best.
He is still one. Cherry picks his opponents and lives off his family name.

Dude backed down of a fight because Till said stupid stuff like he always does. And Till was a gimme fight.. dude sucks.
