Media Tony Ferguson "In Talks" To Leave UFC To GFL

Graveyard Fight League stealing all the top fighters
You are joking, but this is actually the most metal thing ever.
Imagine a cage made of bones in a graveyard. I had no idea I needed that image in my head.

I see a lot sherdicks bashing GFL but they have a solid roster of has beens.

The point is for what? It’s going to fold and it’s all a money grab like what ex mma stars did in Bellator.

We will all end. See it this way.
We will all get diagnosed with Parkinsons at age 42? That’s a horrendous existance. My parents are in their 60s and still pretty active and healthy. These guys who stayed more than they should have in mma will likely have a fucked up existence in their 50s/60s.

If he's gonna fight again it should be in the UFC because he wont get the medical coverage he currently has outside of the UFC. People will shit on this comment but the UFC takes care of it's fighters better than anyone else. If he gets hurt in GFL or even training he's fooked.

He's just be another name on the GFL roster that should've already retired.

I know with GFL contract doesn't necessarily mean they'll fight, but every name I've seen on their lists have all been far beyond expiration, idk what the appeal is.

Throw one of us sherdoggers in there with him for a last fight so he can get a win. He needs to be fed a super can. Nick Diaz made sense but I doubt he will ever be back.

His body already left the UFC some 5 fights ago...

What else can he do for money though?

When you have family and a son, I think it's gonna be hard to ignore provider mode, when this Is the most money you can possibly make.

Sad reality of a lot of fighters, sacrificing their bodies and brains for family.
I mean, how long can be continue this for?

I really, really, really want Tony to retire for his health, legacy and comfortability during his later years.

On the other hand, what else in Tony Ferguson going to do? Fighting is his life. He has family issues. He has substance abuse issues. He has mental health issues. He's said on a few occasions he can't work a regular job. Without fighting to focus Tony, in my opinion, only bad things can happen.

I'm leaning towards letting Tony be the first death in televised MMA.
