Rumored Tony Ferguson "In Talks" To Leave UFC To GFL

He needs to retire. Tony is finished. I only see it going badly in GFL for him, he is going like Bigfoot Silva

Good.

I don't think GFL is going to be around for long so Tony will be left out without fights in no time.

Question is... does he retires or goes back to the regional circuit?

I have a feeling this GFL thing will never actually happen and we’ll just hear talks about broadcasts deals for the next 6 months, then it just quietly disappears.
^THIS^
TBF I'll give it one, two shows tops...

Hey what was that promotion that did a event and no one got paid??? Not the fighters, not security, Nobody.... this might be another one of those...

I think he should retire. I thought my dad should of retired 10 years before he did. I think some older people should give up their keys. Tony is of "sound" mind and is "capable" of making his own decisions. I hope he listens to people who care about him and aren't just there to take advantage
What else can he do for money though?

When you have family and a son, I think it's gonna be hard to ignore provider mode, when this Is the most money you can possibly make.

Sad reality of a lot of fighters, sacrificing their bodies and brains for family.

If he can collect some retirement funds vs grapplers and wrestlers I guess it will be worth it. If hes gonna get in there with strikers, I can't wait for this thing to fold.

The grandpa fighting league is as crazy as Tony for doing this.

Did Tony beat BJ Penn's losing streak?

The most sensible thing is to retire. Sad stuff man. MMA is such a cruel sport to be in. It doesn't matter what you have done in the past because you'll eventually end up a meme for fans to laugh at and a broken soul if you over welcome your stay

U must be looking at some other Tony Ferguson bro.

Tony is one of those people that go to a 1 time course anybody can take at Harvard and then say "They went to harvard business school"

I would 100% tune in for the Kevin Lee rematch and the BJ Penn matchup

At least BJ left MMA after the UFC. The last thing Tony needs to do is join another org and take more punishment.

Bendo, Pettis, Will Brooks and some other spring chickens have signed on with GFL. It will be kind of like watching John McEnroe and Andre Agassi play pickleball on Youtube.

The Tony F Story looks like it’s going to have a terrible and ugly ending imo

I hate how the UFC operates just full of greed fighters are just condems to get used and trashed..

You'd think this company would learn from their mistakes.. tony who was in the top 5 was one of the faces and biggest names in lw and we'll known ..he

Gets older slows down falls off.. but is still competitive and good.. they give him nothing but top 5 fights still... Then release him..

Why wouldn't you use tony who can fight in the top 10 and win maybe make changes and have a comeback..

Have him sorting the talent and gate keeping and would be a test for any top 10 guy trying to break in the top 5.

Guess what pay him less he's a huge name and just beating him can't promote the young up and comer

Since this company doesn't promote
