It's more likely than not that the only talk Tony needs to have to leave the UFC is to ask for his release. Most fighters would need more, but probably not Tony. There's very limited upside and significant downside in value to the UFC in offering Tony a fight at this point. Let someone else take the blame for him coming out of a fight a cripple or worse.

UFC probably doesn't want to be liable down the road for any brain damage claims Tony might make against them, so releasing him seems likely imo. He's not enough of a draw now to be a threat to them anyway
