The chance of getting AIDS from heterosexual sex if you are a man isn't nearly as high as a homosexual sex for sure but high enough that I don't recommend having sex with a pro without protection on. Lots of other nasty things you can get besides AIDS anyway. I was once told if you keep speeding you will eventually get a ticket. Do I think Morrison had AIDS. Yeah 1000% Do I think he got it from Hetero sex? Maybe it is possible. I'm sure did drugs and frequented low class ladies. It's possible his junk was raw from having multiple partners night after night and bam he got AIDS.

I think it's safe to say HIV is real. There were some dissenters who had credentials in the early days (Peter Duesberg) but I think time has proven them wrong. The only thing I can see that Duesberg was correct on was that he said people the got HIV were usually "thirdworldized" meaning their health was poor to begin with. As far as his theory that HIV was harmless, I think that's pretty much been put to bed. Morrison didn't have to die with the advances that have been made.

It's a problem when these expert egos confuse people who don't know anything and end up dying because they believe it. These doctors who do this are just trying to refocus attention on themselves, nothing more. Not trying to be freedom fighters, whistleblowers or anything that noble.

You understand how HIV works right? And how far medical treatment has gone? HIV if caught before becoming AIDs is a perfectly treatable disease where a pill a day can make it for most patients to where their viral load is completely suppressed, where it won't show up in blood samples and cannot be transmitted, even if you injected their blood into your veins.


People with HIV can basically live a normal life, a long healthy one if they have access to medical treatment (which is really just a pill a day in most cases now). That said, if you stop taking the pill the virus will begin to spread throughout your body and become highly transmittal through blood and you do need to go in quarterly or so for blood work to check that the virus is contained and you are still responding properly to the medication and treatment.

For these reasons even if someone is properly medicated and has no viral load, in a sport like boxing where blood shed and blood spread is fairly common, it's not allowed for people to compete with HIV. Most likely Tommy had HIV and it came up on blood work, maybe he didn't know at the time, maybe it was a very low viral load or maybe his medications needed adjusting and when he went to retake the test the viral load was suppressed and no longer identifiable. I'm sure he wanted people to believe he didn't have the disease which has an awful stigma attached to it, of course.

Probably got it from needles. I doubt the women he was having sex with were junkies and it is harder to transfer from a woman to a man. Odds of transferring by needle is 1 in 159. Odds of getting HIV while giving anal in 1 in 900. Odds of getting HIV during vaginal sex (giving) is 1 in 1500. If you look at the numbers, HIV is not very contagious or not at all what it was portrayed like in the 80s and 90s. Herpes is much more transmittable.
