I think the Parkinson's was applied to his condition because so many people loved him that they figured saying he was "punch drunk" was too harsh, Parkinson's softened the blow. There are even people who tried to say it had nothing to do with boxing.

there is an estimate of 0.04% chance of infection per sexual act if the female partner is infected (and the virus is not suppressed, obviously). which means, statistically, you need to have unprotected sex with an infected woman 250 times to catch it. but it also means out of 250 people doing it once, one unlucky bastard is going to get it. maybe tommy was just unlucky. statistics really mean nothing to the individual.

Odds of getting HIV while giving anal in 1 in 900. Odds of getting HIV during vaginal sex (giving) is 1 in 1500.
