A TV series is a different thing nowadays with Netflix etc so it's not beyond imagining that a big star could lead, but Tom Cruise seems a stretch at the least.

Being a Reacher book fan, it always seemed jarring seeing his stature in the films, he did well at thw role and I enjoyed them, but he wasn't Reacher. Reacher intimidates people with his size and it's referred to constantly in the books. It describes 6ft+ benching 275 and banging 10's life pretty perfectly and I'd like the show to reflect that experience that I have day to day.
