Tom Clancy's: The Division 2 - Official Thread

With the latest invasion having rotated in my favour, I was able yesterday afternoon to craft Nemesis. Single-shot DMG when all is procc'ed hits for 432K – yeah, I had the same reaction and that's before headshot or MMR-all buffs. How would you like your tombstone to read, darling?

My BiS M700 (nickname: Romper Stomper) hits for 1/3 that. There's a catch though. Nemesis hits for zero if you don't play their trigger meta-game that mandates you hold the trigger down for x seconds or it will fire on its own after what I'll liken to a timeout; DMG correlates to where in the window trigger release occurs. As a Sniper Elite enthusiast, I can tell you the most meaningful shots are ones on high-variable, penetrative targets – the feeling can be enhanced against either a theatrically-tense silence or then when all hell is raining down and your sightline is as dodgy as Ubisoft's launch practices, O no he didn't! I totally did though.

Nemesis, then, is a shade disappointing for me. It hasn't the oomph of my M700 upon fire and the fact that I have to play some little game while reconciling target variables makes me feel I'm babysitting this diva of a killing machine. Not to embellish, it looks great, has quick, non-tactical reload and I do like it, but love? Meh. Spare me the games next time.

Man! I've been grinding hard for the explorer kit. I've almost got the Air Force (GO USAF!) one put together! That and the astronaut suit are the only ones I want.

What a slog!

I had to grind for this apparel event! I usually don't pay them any mind, but I really wanted that pilot and astronaut set! I guess because I'm an old USAF guy! :) I got to the point where my event reset and the event ending synched up. :( I had 2 keys from when I first installed, so I had to buy 5. :( 5 bucks, but it was worth it! :)

Oh yeah, the F-2000 is just a bullet hose. Can't wait until the new adjustments come out!
 
Is there anything after 500 gear score? I'm getting close 276, but I'm sure that last bit is like half the game.

With the adjustment to the skills in the game, I'm constantly tweaking and modifying gear to get the best combo of power and reset time on my drones etc..

And don't forget the Pentagon is coming this week for season pass holders! It's gonna be nuts!

B. I've never been this far in a loot game so I'm not familiar with the loop. Still have to do all the pilot missions!

Embrace the grind and always check your gear and not just the gear score. I found a vest at the clan vendor that has 800+ skillpower!!!

The aviator jacket itself is also a real looker. All the agents running cowboy themes adopted it as their own soon after release.

The free, post-launch downloadables will cease in 2020 and the rumour is the first pay-to-play DLC will at that point focus on blowing the endgame loop up so that'll be something to watch for as well if you enjoyed Survival and such from TD1; GS 550 will also likely see an arrival then and that of course will be a firestarter event for refarming builds, BiS items et cetera.

500 at time of writing is the ceiling with a previous title update reallocating 500+ to a secondary 'recalibration score'. We used to have 513s about and such but that got messy and devs were like, nah, son. Drops correlate to punishingly overthought nuances with a hidden inventory 'score' so the better items you cull and curate, the better your drops are – which is a driving force of the loop you'd mentioned.

Glad to hear you're getting pulled back in. En route to 500, I strongly recommend farming lvl 3 and 4 CPs so you can obtain all weapon mod blueprints; should be around 94 in all but it's VIP to kit your baby out with 10% DTE or CHC whereas lazier agents are selling themselves short at buffs half that.
 
I logged on for the update and wasn't able to get too far in. Everything looks good, though.
 
Just completed the main story missions. Massive again short with the content. TU6 is great, but I don't know if it's enough.
