As a DZ urchin I thought I'd be a lot better at Conflict than I am. I suck. Been reading some tips online to see what I'm bungling. While stats are normalised, I eat pavement every time it's two of us toe to toe – and it's not my aim.

I've seen better players mention that cover need be rethought to be a force in C. If you're mentally scanning for cover, you're dead. If you're trying to outthink someone from behind cover, you're dead. In short, peek-a-boo and down-line strafing is a good base to run with.

I got kicked from group-play today at the finale of a challenge/heroic mission over playfully aiming my MMR at the host while he/she was respawning. Touchy, touchy… Name was Kceb9-something. If I ever see that tag in DZ I will body him en route to extraction, leaving his drop to perch outside of which so in reclaim, it's death comes twice. Cross a hunter, get hunted.

I’m still treading water in the 480s and can’t reach deeper waters. Are you recalibrating to ratchet up or are your raw gear-scores that robust?

I loathe finding a superior addition to kit but it nosedives my Skill power. It’s proven a constant tug of war to strike that menacing medium for me.

I've got about 220k armor, 58k health, and 2.1k skill power. It's really, really tough. Gotta find the right rolls.

I bought the game a month ago and I’m hooked.
I’m just trying to figure out everything like the printer filament , how you break down the piece of gear upgrades and defense upgrades.
Now i have my bench maxed upgraded for now.

I just need better weapons lol. Where would be a good spot to snag a decent rifle?

Thanks, I’m pretty new to the franchise so I’m slowly figuring everything out again.
I tend to play solo, so I’m trying to find gear and weapons to support that.

You'll lose all of your gear that you pick up in the DZ. You can't use it until you extract it and it gets decontaminated. You'll keep all of the gear you brought in with you though.

What you extract, you keep.

Good luck but remember, it's PvPvE… But that's where the best gear is... Risk = Reward.

You lose I THINK the loot you have got in the DZ that are in those "contaminated" bags if you hadn't extracted them yet.

I’m bullet fodder as it is lol. I expect I’m gonna get worked hard before I pick up the gist of it. I’ve only done the story DZ. so not too familiar with it.
What guns do you use?
Right now I stick with my rifle, and either LMG or shotgun.

I feel like that is ultimately up to your play style.

For me I always run a LMG, shotgun (usually the Super 90) and a high cap pistol.

I like high city’s from a far and picking off the stragglers .
So I usually load a rifle, LMG/Shotgun depending on how many missions I’m trying by myself .
That and I have shotgun for my pistol slot cause it does 51k damage lol.
I usually lag behind and try and snipe my spots if I’m in a party
I’m just dying a lot when I solo, so now I’m just trying to level up my gear and weapons .
I’m only like 234 for leveling after 30. So I know I’m still pretty low, the Black Tusks just kick my ass

I run all story missions through matchmaking and hang back and let them come to me if I do side missions solo right now.

That plus I use the turret and drone to force guys to funnel towards me pretty much.
