Mods seem to have changed big time.

Breath of fresh air, no? We were at times pre-update picking up phantom mods – some with thresholds of 5K+. Mate, wholly inaccessible as such. I had a blast this morning now retrofitting all those cool mods. Watch out for my Chem launcher now, fair warning.

What's up guys? I was toying with the idea of picking this game up. I haven't read anything in this thread at all, so I know nothing about what people are saying, but there were only two things that really made me stop playing Division1:

• Bullet Sponge bosses

• Losing loot from trolls in the dark zones

Are both these things still built into the game?

The Bullet sponge bosses are gone from what I've experienced so far. They do have a LOT of armor though but you can chip it off and get them down.

The dark zone is PvPvE so it can be a gank-fest but that's what the Dark zone is for. If you don't want deal with it, don't go in there. But if you want the best loot, you've got to take the risk and roll the dice.

It is a great game and I recommend it!

P.S., I joined the Sherdog clan yesterday! Just two of us on xbone so far!

Got my gs up to 487. I'm trying to stay as balanced as possible.

What's up guys? I was toying with the idea of picking this game up. I haven't read anything in this thread at all, so I know nothing about what people are saying, but there were only two things that really made me stop playing Division1:

Exactly. You can just farm the Strongholds to get the gear sets, too.

I'm in WT 1 and it says my GS isn't up to par for the first Black Tusk story mission.

My GS is around 287.

You can get reasonably far in the game without going to the DZ too. I haven't done more than the story DZ missions and I'm fine.

487 crew checking in. *fistbump What odds... I played with a guy yesterday who was 503 so with Tier 5 really came new heights. I'm still pumped on this journey and a thoroughbred gear-fiend. I bagged a piece of Patriot kit today from a rando on a territory control job (in Southwest) but only have three pieces ATM; believe me, when I saw the mint-green loot bat-signal up, I stopped what I was doing and dove for that mother straight into gunfire, ha. Seems a slog to full-set any of the new armours though. An any-build GS 500 would be sweet and is a minimum to rock before I consider putting this game down until the next instalments roll out.

Crafted my first exotic yesterday (the Liberty sidearm) and while I don't use it all that much, the talents are pretty exciting – albeit situational enough to limit my really relying on it in-field. I have two or three components of the Chatterbox (SMG exotic) but all by luck obtained so not sure where the rest are or how many.

I'd really like to have an exotic for a primary. It definitely looks sexy to see a red-classed weapon in your build so I've refused to switch my sidearm out despite having better-scored gear queued just beneath it. The dog tags loosely hanging from the grip give the Liberty a BAMF certification, in my book.

I've been in "offline" mode for awhile I think, I set it that way to finish Dragon Age un-interrupted and forgot to remove that status.
