And a heads-up, if I may – the Hunters are hard as hell to solo. When the rituals summon two-four at a time, forget about it; bring a brother or two to wreck house. You have to redo the rituals or then wait again until nightfall if you are defeated. Some of the masks look really cool but I only have two and neither I like much. Been working on exotics myself but I haven't had the best of luck. With so many layers to everything, this game is just awesome.
 
Got my score up to 446. Got wrecked in the challenging daily yesterday with @Ninja Elf. lol
 
You guys need watch the handheld, GoPro-style clips uploaded to your Intel and Commendations 'board'. It's the menu behind ticking the Progression box next to Character. The Outcast clip detailing an intimate moment before a member suicide-bombs hit me like a truck. They offer a gritty, documentary feel to what we're doing and what's going on in DC. I'd ignored the tab completely until the other day. Big mistake.

Servers are updating right now for me and reopen in one hour; this must be that. The 8-man raid art they've been using in announcing as much looks pretty intimidating, ha.

I'm GS 400+ and Tier 3 with that settlement still on scrub-status. Tier-4 agents might have something else though, or heck, Tier 5 now.

BTW, read something the other day that I wanted to tell you. While agents worldwide are still trying to piece together and uncover the puzzle that is exotics, among them is apparently an Outcast-drop exotic. Guess what model? M249, bud. And the talents in general for this red-coded weapon class if you haven't seen them are vicious. From 500% DMG buffs to life-saving defensive measures, all stuff you want at your side. This is what Palis was alluding to and I agree; it's all VIP gear worth the effort. I don't think I'm going to tackle Tidal Basin until I'm outfitted with at least one exotic – as a point of pride if nothing else.

It's the new exotic dropping today with the title update I think. I saw a clip of it in the trailer and I want it bad.
 
They definitely reworked both audio and recoil for marksman rifles, sounding and feeling fantastic. And Skill thresholds are much more balanced now. I'm really curious what the rumoured three upcoming Specialisations are that they have in store for us. I'd like a Trapper/Archer of sorts or trip-mine mastermind but I think an Arsonist track sounds likely with flamethrower and effective defence perks against burn status. No idea though and just spitballing.
 
I picked up the "Designated Hitter" marksman rifle last night. I'm going to twerk it and work it and see how it goes!
 
In WT 5 at 459. Been power leveling my clan up lol
 
Pro-tip!

Don't forget to look up in the trees or a side of a building every now and then. If you see an orange supply crate dangling from some parachute straps, shoot the crate and loot will drop. :)

Is that the one with the quote from General Ridgeway in the notes? I looted something similar at one point (one time only) and I thought it was so cool that I stashed it without want ever to sell or deconstruct. Feels like a True Sons' collector item.
