A real tough guess. I hope so...

* Tom is a HW that uses continuous movement. That is rare.

* He uses that movement for his timing, as opposed to "winning by cardio".

* He seems to set up his variation from angles and timing to keep his opponent guessing - he is as likely to tie up, take down, counter-strike or pre-empt.

His entire ability is built around movement.
If he loses a step then (I think) he would need to change his entire approach.

I know he resembles Mir but it stops there.
Mir was never much of a mover.

Very few HWs actively move and even fewer do so to continually find openings and counters.

Well, talk is one thing and we'll have to wait and see how he does in the cage, but he says he's doing stuff in the gym he hasn't been able to do since he was in his early 20s.

If he's even better than before then HW is his for the taking imo.
