is that when lesnar lost? dana so sad haha

You guys need to put some respect on Aspinalls name.. He might not have the mental fortitude to be a UFC champ but he is the future Misfits boxing HW champ... KSI vs Aspinall will be bigger than Mayweather x Pacquiao

That's for sure his first stop after leaving the UFC. They might even have him and Ngannou fight for the "lineal" HW title.

The eye poke situation would get a lot better if the UFC adopted a less poke prone glove design and if refs took a zero tolerance approach to eye pokes.

If my career was ended this way I would be talking to a lawyer.

Yessir and then Khamzat vs Jiri for the vacant LHW title, let's go!
It could happen. The rumor seems to be right now Jiri vs Ulberg for somewhere in ~ UFC 327-329 and then Khamzat vs Imavov for UFC 328 or 329.

But yes I definitely think we could see Khamzat for Jiri for the UFC LHW title in 2026.

A lot of you and the media forgot about this but about 3 years ago Aspinall at his gym training said 'I want to get the belt make as much money as possible then get out of MMA as fast as possible' or something along those lines. He sounded like he hated what he did. No talk about legacy, no talk about passion for fighting.

So back then I thought to myself this guy is a waste of time to follow. As he clearly already has one foot out the door before he's even 30. Not only is his personality shit and boring, let's face it. He also doesn't want to fight or entertain for long.

So none of this is surprising. He's probably looking for a way out of his contract. With his rudimentary boxing skills he probably wants to have a Jake Paul style celeb fight event or two then retire from fighting altogether.

Tom hates fighting. He just does it to make his daddy happy.

From 4 days ago on Tom's monetized Youtube channel let me present to everybody Mr Tom "I can't even see to shake hands":

giphy.gif

And yes, he starts the video saying it's 2026 so it's not some old video just uploaded now.

Strip this lying clown already.

Can't see shit and has to stop the fight, but point at the screen to show the eye poke replay.

Needs 32 eye drops a day but go for a completely optional and unrelated lasik surgery.

Can't play with his kids, but can play with influencers.

ugh yeah. the whole sport is a joke, man. the ufc, fighters, all of 'em. clout chasing drama queens making demands and looking to suck up as much cash from a fucking belt for as long as possible. the conor era really made them all assholes.

i promise yall nerds, once he gets out of UFC contract, he will sign a boxing fight within 6 months.

he went from being completely uncontrollably brown syndrome shitting his ass blind, to making a youtube monetized video later that week breaking down the UFC event.

total fucking joke.

Take Tom completely at face value that he’s not even considering a return at this point.

Okay then strip his ass. Even the Tom fans have to support that if he has no timeline to return

NGL I've been trying to give him the benefit of the doubt but that list of things he's having trouble with is so obviously put together by someone thinking about lawsuits.

Can't play with his kids, drive, quality of life stuff. Then, can't shake a hand, and has balance and coordination issues, so clearly can't dodge a punch.

Maybe they're not thinking suits and he instead has a publicist that was an attorney, either way it's written very Saul Goodmanish.
My first thought EXACTLY. Reads like an upcoming lawsuit asking for loss of potential career earnings into the 100s of millions (which would state “future in boxing” too).

Not only that. If he loses in boxing, he already has a perfect excuse. Impaired vision.

impaired vision, dirty hygiene, the guy is an excuse maker.

also, he loses in boxing, his combat sports career is done.

ngannou secured the check, but look at him now. absolutely irrelevant.

without the UFC name, he is nothing.

tom won't have more success than ngannou in a theoretical boxing match, esp when gane destroyed him.

tom goes to boxing, tries to get a boxing match, his career is done after that.

the best thing he could have done, was fought, lost, and THEN blame it on the eye poke. and STAYED with the UFC.

instead, quitting, blaming the eyepoke, his whole he needs surgery, he doesn't, he's blind, he's not, the comments hurt my feelings, bacterial analysis of nails, was fucking overkill.
