All that shit is irrelevant. If you think Jones is ducking Aspinall or Ronald Mcdonald, that is your view. I am not here to talk about jones view on the Aspinall fght, if he does or not, that is on him. We are just talking about the Stipe fight and the reality that the Stipe fight was put in place before Aspinall was interim and before aspinall was even a top division fighter. Aspinall was not even considered the backup to the Jones and Stipe fight, it was Sergei as Aspinall was not even in the picture. The Jones and Stipe fight fell through because jones got injured and is out for an extended amount of time. It was booked and then rebooked and is not hard to understand why it is going through.
Yes he is, Aspinall who was not an interim champion at the time of the Stipe and Jones booking.
UFC is not a sport, mma is. You not agreeing with every match up doesn’t make it less of a sport. It would be great if UFC was a sport and not sports entertainment. (And I'm not even sure if it's sports entertainment when much of Dana's manipulation is based on who kisses his ass and who pisses him off. It's... little girl emotions entertainment.)
The UFC can never be a "real sport" they way it's owned/operated. Considering how UFC generally tries to make the best fights happen, regardless of whatever narrative they'd prefer, it's still been great the way it is. Compared to how fragmented boxing had been for decades, we've had it pretty damn good.yes I think they should fight but it's something I don't really care if it happens one way or the other. It's not a big deal.
Maybe you're right but I could care less. I don't need MMA to be a true sport. I watch it, enjoy it, and that's all I need from MMA.
I was referencing WWE brass. Take it up with them.UFC is not a sport, mma is.
I'm not saying it's not a sport because I disagree with their match-ups. Please don't reply to me if this is going to be how dumb your thoughts are.You not agreeing with every match up doesn’t make it less of a sport.

Reread my last message to you. Clearly you comprehend any part of it.Did you not read your own post?
Yes, I already proved that by responding to it correctly.Reread my last message to you. Clearly you comprehend any part of it.
You objected to me calling the UFC a sport when I was referencing a defence the WWE pioneered. Then you mischaracterized why I think the UFC doesn't function like a sport. Then you insisted on typing more stupid thoughts at me, which I'm most definitely not interested in being subjecgted to.Yes, I already proved that by responding to it correctly.

You don’t see how saying “it would be great if the ufc was a sport” could be taken as you saying that it isn’t a sport? Help me here, buddy.
UFC is not a sport, mma is.
I was correcting both your usage of “ufc” to mean “mma” and your insinuation that it isn’t a sport. Why would you write this to me if you thought I was saying UFC wasn't a sport?
What were you trying to say?
lol your babbling bullshit doesn't have the layers you think it does.I was correcting both your usage of “ufc” to mean “mma” and your insinuation that it isn’t a sport.

Yes, you did an excellent job of conveying two meanings with one misunderstanding of what was being said. Well done.I think that I’ve been fairly direct this whole time.
Let me clarify for you: I was saying that UFC does not function like a meritorious sport and thinking that assessment is based on "not liking the match-ups" is an extremely foolish understanding of the issue. There’s a common meme of calling mma not a sport or sports entertainment because of people not liking match ups and I think it is annoying. Too many people, even now, pretend that mma isn’t a real sport, and it’s extra annoying to see people make the claim on what is ostensibly a site for mma fans.

Even after I explained to you that my assessment of the UFC is not based on their match-making, you continue to claim that it is. Do you expect me to keep going back and forth with someone who doesn't understand what is actually being said and types really stupid things while thinking they're being clever?Yes, I know what you were saying and have been arguing against it the whole time. I was deliberately rewording your grievance to show how silly it was. It’s pretty hilarious that you not understanding that I didn’t misunderstand you wasted all these posts.
You not liking match ups (you thinking people aren’t getting earned shots) doesn’t change whether or not mma is a sport.
And it is mma, not ufc. I know what you were TRYING to say, I was disagreeing with it, fairly plainly.
