If Conor and Nate were exactly at the same height / same reach, you think Conor still would have lost? If so your stupid and delusional.

Das it.

They were similar in height/reach/weight when Nate beat him.

You think if Mendes was the same height and reach as Conor and had a full camp Conor would have won

What sort of wanker ends a post with das it?you angry your crush got beat down?Simple analysis of the fight shows Nate was never once in trouble,Connor hit him flush numerous times and it didn't affect anything.Connor has always had advantage with size, when the boots on the other foot his fans cry like babies about it.

So 4 inches taller, 4 inches in reach is "similar" in size? Then how is it that Conor is "towering over" FW and beating up people so much smaller than him with even less discrepancy in size?

Sounds to me like as long as you are a fan of a fighter, the size difference doesn't matter, but when you don't like the fighter, any size advantage means he's a giant in the wrong weight class.

Calls others stupid yet doesn't know the proper context for using you're/your which is a concept I had learned and mastered by the time I was 7 years old.

Wasn't there just a 2" reach difference, I may be wrong?
I don't take the height thing as some huge advantage. It is just something you work with, coming from a Judo background, it was a disadvantage most of the time.

Center of balance matters in grappling, yes. Height does play a pretty big difference in striking. Punching down can make reach advantage feel even bigger. Also, according to the tale of the tape last night, it's only a 2 inch difference, but every other fight before this, Conor had a 72 inch reach, which is far more believable. 72 is still a big reach for his height. Nate is also every bit of 6'1" He's taller than Nick.

You all are missing something critical here. When a striker who uses his range and height to keep most guys at bay fights a taller guy with the same fighting style, the first guy isn't as good at fighting taller opponents than a stocky type dude that's been fighting taller guys his entire career. Someone like hector lombard. He knows how to fight and outstrike taller guys. Conor is usually the taller guy with more range. He did well despite this.
