To the Balding Sherbros

stone cold too but that’s because they were balding and didn’t have cool hair to begin with
Nah, go look back at his diving days, had a pretty good amount of hair.

Some ppl just look better bald.

The Rock looks better bald and w/ a beard, than when he had hair.

No one looks better bald unless they're hair is terrible to begin with, the Rock has always had pretty shit hair, high ass hairline.

This thread reeks of insecurity.

One of the absolute best decisions I've made is beginning to shave my head after high school. My hairline was receding and my grandfathers on both sides of my family were bald, so it was only a matter of time.

So I either had the choice of being one of those desperate men trying whatever products or surgeries to save my hair, or own it like a boss.

*One less thing to worry about in the morning.
*No costly haircuts.
*No shampoo, gel, or other hair products.
*Only takes 5 minutes to shave in the shower every 2 days.

As for the social response to having a shaved head, watch this. I can say from personal experience this guy isn't bullshitting -

As soon as I saw that I was thinning at the crown in my mid-30s I lamented the loss of my hair for about a day as I thought about all the various ways in which I could attempt to disguise it or fix it, I decided that they were all either ridiculous ( wigs, comb-overs, etc. ), ridiculously expensive ( transplants, plugs, etc. ) or just ridiculously risky ( all the various drugs ). So, the following day I purchased a good set of hair clippers & began taking it all the away down without a guard. That was about twenty years ago & since then I've been married twice to two attractive women that I had no problem getting together with. Both of them significantly younger than myself ( My first wife was a decade younger & my second wife is 21 years younger ).

So, my lack of hair hasn't been a hindrance to me in any way, shape, or form.

Spot on, bro.

No one looks better bald unless they're hair is terrible to begin with, the Rock has always had pretty shit hair, high ass hairline.
I disagree.

Gives some men a more clean/sleek look.

Racecar heads.

Looking back at college photos even, I know I have always been doomed. Now at 35, I have been debating when to give in and go completely shaved down.

This is almost as judgemental as the earring on men thread. Who gives a fuck?
A 21 year old friend of mine was receding like fuck and looked pretty daft...if he'd whipped it all off he would have looked far better. But it's totally up to the person. My other half had hair longer than mine but was receding. Not badly but it did look a bit topsy turvy so I suggested he chop it off. He did, we both agreed it looked far better. His bear, however. fuck getting rid of that.

You're misunderstanding what I'm saying, once you have a transplant the hairs that aren't transplanted will still eventually go. To keep those untransplanted hairs you have to keep taking propecia and minoxidil, if you don't they'll quickly go and you'll need another transplant. A transplant is only a temporary fix, not a cure.

My buddy has no hair left. Fucker was bald. Now he has a full head of hair and you would never notice. He doesn't use prospecia or anything either

I don't think you are up to date on this. It's absolutely a permanent fix

It took me a minute to realize that was a typo & you meant beard.

Yeah, I too, thought for a moment that he liked a big burly man on the side occasionally. But I wouldn't have judged. Though I'd have been surprised that you were into sharing. LOL.
He hasn't even watched any porn that involves a penis, the thought of him getting screwed by some fat hairy bloke just floored me, lol. He's no homophobe but he's all the way good innocent Irish loyal all the way through guy. Who enjoys fanny not dicky.

if u really want a cure for baldness, bald men will have to stop breeding
stamp out those genes

Some genes are hard to not pass on. Balding for example, may not present itself until well past breeding age.

Good to know. You certainly deserve someone who's 100% devoted to you & all your various bits that need proper attention paid to them. He sounds like a good man.

Some dudes look better bald or almost as good.
I am not one of those dudes.
I’d rather keep my hair or manage it till it goes.

Lulz at "various bits" like I have both, ahaha.
