...calling him a can and non UFC-caliber:

Remember this guy is a former champ, and has 6 finishes in Strikeforce and UFC, one of those vs Yoel Romero by strikes!

He's the only one to finish the Cuban phenom, so that says a lot about his skills imo.

People don't realize what a great fighter he actually is.

Didn't he get busted for steroids?

He was also juiced to the gills and once he popped and returned from suspension was flabby as hell and got fucked up. I chop his Strikeforce success up to being enhanced by every substance under the sun.

But he is a can and non-UFC caliber.

People are talking about Feijao again?

who's even dissing him?

haven't seen anyone talk about him in years on here, if ever.

get off sherdog feijao.

I really miss those days, BRING STEROIDS BACK!

People trying to discredit the soldier of el due to his loss to the former juiced sf lhw champion. They conveniently ignore that it was early in homero's career; for comparison's sake, anderoid was getting subbed by chonan and takase in his youth.

He WAS a good fighter who became a gunshy journeyman in the UFC.

I was pretty high on Feijao back in the day when he was in EliteXC and Strikeforce, he was a killer back then. Like others have said though, the juice likely had something to do with it,

Feijao is feast or famine. Some fights he looks amazing against good fighters. Others he looks like he has no business in there no matter the competition. Even a couple of his Strikeforce wins in build up fights were “is that all?” And then next fight he lays waste to a superior fighter from is last one.

He did very well against most wrestlers. He’s a big strong guy. He struggled with quicker strikers like Thiago and Mike Kyle that one fight. Feast or famine though, with how he fought Mo it was surprising he struggled with Hendo’s clinch as much as he did. Considering Hendo had already become basically a headhunter by that point.

He’s a skilled guy. Definetly not a can but not terribly active and is too bulky to make a seamless cut to 205. Some fights he looked drained before the match even started.

Mo and Romero were good finishes.

This move doesn’t get the ooos and awes it deserves. It was slick as hell

Romero's loss to Feijao means about as much as Cyborg's loss to that chick that beat her 14 years ago.

Might as well make a "everyone dissing Erica Paes" thread while you're at it.

I guess that explains the rapid decline and body deterioration of cavalcante, hendong, vitro, et al.

feijao was an interesting prospect. Great TDD and MT. It's a shame he fizzled out.

It was kinda funny when Thiago Silva demolished him like he was nothing.
