It is the NCAA National Tournament. They have them every year. What you are suggesting is the same as saying that 2 teams playing in the first round of the NCAA basketball tournament are playing for a championship. They are not. They are playing to get into the second round.

This is what my point was. Not sure why you are arguing when you are saying the same thing. I dont think tj was about to win the ncaa div I championship if he had only won those matches.

It's true, he's a nobody..... He wasted all those years in Detroit smashing nearly every rushing record during his career when he could have just been on the Cowboys' practice squad earning ring after ring in the 90's.
 
He was pretty consistently good enough to qualify but not good enough to win the matches that mattered. It be what it be

We are not saying the same thing. You said he was wrestling for championships. You are wrong about that.

Where we agree is that just getting to the tournament is an achievement in itself.

He was 170-33 in high school. Can't find his collegiate record but he went at least 53-40. Was 10th ranked in the nation his senior year and finished 4th at Pac 10 championships in back to back seasons.
 
You watch tj fight he’s not really a great wrestler... solid tdd
