It kind of sucks bc it was nice to have a non politician in office. But Tito just isn’t well spoken enough to do it.

Hard to be a Trumper in a liberal state when Biden's in office I suppose.
Yeah a guy who got punched in the head for a living, married a professional cum bucket and can barely string a coherent sentence together failing as a leader is shocking and has to be related to who’s in the White House and not who’s in “liberal” Huntington Beach, right?

Y’all will make anyone into martyrs lol

This is a good day for the citizens of Huntington Beach

He’s not fit for public service, period,
Reagan was a farce, Trump was a tragedy.
Reagan was way more impactful and damaging than trump, trump was just a troll and attention seeker. I don’t think trump even believes in all of the platforms he ran on. RR changed the direction the country was headin

this is local government, there’s non career community leaders in local government all the time. Having a micro celeb making decisions for your city/county is not something anyone should want, unless they’re super bright and have been consistently involved for a long time. I’m not sure Tito even has the capacity for critical thinking tbh

Short article, but full of choice quotes like:

"The UFC Hall of Famer cited leaks at City Hall and character assassination by the media as the reasons for his resignation, though it’s not quite clear what he is referring to."

"Ortiz also filed for unemployment on Feb. 20, though he was still in office and being paid for that part-time position. Ortiz owns two businesses in town and a $4 million home, per the report. Huntington Beach Mayor Kim Carr believes that Ortiz may have committed fraud with this claim."
