he would straight punch KO jonesThe man has a good resume and has only lost to Ngannou and Lewis. He would actually be an easier matchup for Jones as well instead of Gane. It seems the lack of a flashy style and persona is costing him.

I'm with you.Unpopular opinion here: Blaydes UD's Gane easily.
Jon's desire to be GOAT is all it is. Cheats can't be GOATS.Gane = Top Heavyweight Striker in UFC
Blaydes = Top Heavyweight Wrestler in UFC
Jones wants to be the GOAT... Let's do it.

Ngannou became the champ and Lewis caught him with a good shot. Blaydes is 13-3 in the UFC. He's on a 3 fight win streak. Only person that beat him that is still in the UFC like I said caught him with a good punch and is now on a 3 fight losing skid. 2 of the guys he beat in his last 3 fights are in the top 10. Him or Pavlovich make sense for the next TS but I can see them giving it to old Stipe who is doing nothing. In that case Blaydes vs Pavlovich for the next shot. The guy can barely strike and got put into a coma by Black Beast and KOd twice by Ngannou. What the fuck lol? He shouldn't be anywhere near a title shot
If Blaydes beats Pavlovich he'll get a title shot imo, the only question is when. Here's how the upcoming HW title picture should look after 285 imo.
March 4th - UFC 285 - Jones vs Gane
Summer 2023 - Jones vs Gane winner vs Stipe
Late 2023 / Early 2024 - Winner of that vs winner of Blaydes vs Pavlovich
Unpopular, but certainly makes plenty of sense based on skillset and size.Unpopular opinion here: Blaydes UD's Gane easily.
Why would Stipe get the winner of Gane/Jones when he hasn't fought in 2 years, and the last time he did he got slept sir?
I feel the exact same way about Jones fighting for a title after 3 years of sitting on the sidelines.
Blaydes is in no way an easier matchup for Jones. He's pretty much kryptonite for Jon Jones. He can wade in there and brawl Jones with absolutely no fear of Jon's wrestling. In fact It's even likely that Jones gets taken down and pounded outThe man has a good resume and has only lost to Ngannou and Lewis. He would actually be an easier matchup for Jones as well instead of Gane. It seems the lack of a flashy style and persona is costing him.
Yeah, I'm with you. The one person who most benefits from Ngannou's departure is Blaydes without a doubt.I'm with you.
In fact, with Ngannou gone, I think Blaydes beats everyone, including Lewis rematch and Jon Jones.

I'm not saying he deserves the shot on merit necessarily, but Stipe would be a big name for Jones / Gane to get on their resumes so I think the UFC will jump at the chance to throw him in a title fight vs the winner even though the Blaydes vs Pavlovich winner would deserve it more.
I like those matchups but how do we justify Stipe getting a title shot? He has barely fought for the last few years. If Blaydes beats Pavlovich he'll get a title shot imo, the only question is when. Here's how the upcoming HW title picture should look after 285 imo.
