News Titanic Tours Submersible missing in atlantic ocean

Would be crazy if later we found out that someone like his business partners sabotaged it so the CEO would die and someone else takes his position, cash or even company

When your boat kills billionaires, ain't gonna be no cash left to loot.

Maybe the CEOs life insurance goes to the company. Maybe the CEO killed them, like that crazy Dutch guy did with the journalist in his sub

Fucking lol!!! “The mood in the sub is probably not joyous”

A little pricey for me. I'm not that committed.

Smart move.

Its a 8 hour dive from the surface to the wreckage.
They lost contact 1.5 hours into it.

So the media implying, by not widely including that fact, gives the public the impression they made it to the Titanic wreckage and then lost power.

i think it's more like 2 to 2.5hours down to the wreck.

I think the 8hours thing is the total trip length. Down, wreck viewing, ascend.

Perhaps. Though I'd like to see the premium on a life insurance policy that pays off when people die after deliberately going down 13000 ft in an experimental submersible.

If it is power failure, and doesn't sound like a backup power supply...how long will their lights last? Even if they brought a flashlight/lantern...battery life in those are what, 8 hours? So does that mean for a majority of the time they're sitting down in darkness?

Yup. Total darkness once their little camping world light went

*Sigh*

Thank you for posting that.

Very awesome of you.

But in reality, they probably had non-mechanical means of storing their waste. Getting from the surface to a 3800 meters below the surface takes many hours, the last I heard. Given the amount of passengers, each with normal bodily functions, they probably weren't planning on holding their bodily functions for multiple hours even if everything went correctly.
Nope. Only plastic urinals (ziplock bags) and a curtain they draw back.
