You're still only going to get as much bandwidth as you pay your ISP monthly for. So, if you have a 30mb/down plan, they're going to top your speed there and you wouldn't be able to make use of the modem's full potential.

Glad I didn't shell out 300 bucks for a top tier modem then. You'd think if Time Warner is gonna monopolize internet service, they would at least be quality.

I'm paying 70 for "extreme" internet. I don't have cable, refuse to pay 160-180 a month for cable and internet.

And now, after scattered light thunderstorms, the signal is so weak that the ps4 doesn't even register that I have an internet connection.

There's a few things you try to see if it's the wiring in your home or not.

Can you go outside and connect your modem where the cable comes into your house?

If your connection is better, you might have a bad splitter or connecter somewhere. They do go bad sometimes and are tough to diagnose

its funny people dont understand how fucking awful TWC is. They almost merged with Shitcast...should give you an idea how bad time warner is.



im really hoping google comes here so i can get off these fuck. i had there "turbo" internet and i was paying 120$ a month.
