So the screws on his metal plate (broken from Frank Mir) was loosening and literally coming out of his arm so publicly and privately he asked Dana White to pay for it bc he didn’t have the funds but was denied. Then he started a gofundme and ask his fans for the money. Had surgery then bought a new motorcycle and a pick up truck.
So basically he did have to funds and most likely had health insurance but just scammed his fans.
I called him out on instagram but he just blocked me.

His career wasn't cut short. He had 41 fights over 12 years.

And everyone who competes in this freakshow should be concerned with CTE, especially 47 year old heavyweights with a lot of mileage. If(when) he gets knocked out he is going down hard.

It was cut short by HW standards. He was pretty much finished at 33 years old, which would be considered a young prospect by today's HW standards.

To be fair Tim made some decent paydays, he got 800k for fighting Fedor.

He looks better than he did when he retired from MMA (at that time he was pushing 400 lbs, now more like 300). Obviously he's far from being in prime fighting condition, but still good enough to slap the average punk's head off.



It was his weight issues that cut his career short, he didn't accumulate much damage at all in his fights. Not too worried about CTE in his case.

Considering he's 6'8 he's minimum 350lbs here I'd say. He used to have to cut to make 265lbs when he was in shape.

This was him at 305lbs.

It was back injuries that did him in, struggled with his back since before the Couture fight.
