Sylvia does get a bad rep around here and considered garbage by some. I could see a prime Tim being a mid to upper heavyweight today. His technique was not pretty but he had the size and used his reach pretty good at times. He had the power to end fights. I could see him being up and down, knocking some guys out. Not winning consistently enough to be considered the real top of the division but possibly having one run where he could string together enough wins to get him a title shot or maybe a top contender shot.

It is just shocking how consistently mediocre his resume is. A division getting five years older on average is not a sign that it is getting better.

I feel the same, not a bad dude at all. I was pulling for him over sensitive-Crymier BUT when whackos(like FinalSay) start going crazy with the “Stipe is HW GOAT” laughable BS, I find myself wanting to slap somebody.

No it's not. I brought up Struve to say Stipe had issues dealing with Struve's length. One of the only times Struve ever used it properly in a fight.

Tim was absolutely maximize his advantage at range. The entire fight could possibly be just Tim jabbing Stipe the whole fight.
