And the right wing is currently salivating over warmonger Putin as well as that Bundy Ranch welfare queen with the plantation mentality. If Hell existed I'm pretty sure they're all going there too, unfortunately they just stop existing.
 
Mandela wasn't a nice guy to everyone but he was a hero to many. Tim Kennedy isn't a nice guy to everyone but he is a hero to many. Live and let live.

If you're black and grew up in apartheid South Africa, it's not excacly suprising that you would turn to socialism and black nationalism. Society dictates your options, after all.
 
In his old age Mandela denounced violence but he was a terrorist in his young days. But one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. The American revolutionaries, for example, could be said to have been terrorists. Anyway, while I think violence should be avoided at nearly all cost, Mandela was definitely fighting for the right cause.

Also, communism isn't evil. And when the United States supports the regime you're fighting against, it's easy to ally yourself with the other side. Finally, in 50 years or so, when nearly all the work is done by machines and there are a lot of idle workers, some kind of "communism" will be necessary to maintain social cohesion.

Anybody who thinks they're going to fight the American govt is just a delusional idiot, it's just a fact. That whole Bundy thing should be seen as a massive, massive embarrassment for everyone involved.

Any revolutionary back then had support from the left... When they got into power they usually changed...

You can take a picture of Stephan Harper (conservative leader here in Canada) beside Mandela and call him a communist ?

Also, did you live apartheid ? My parents did...I did for a period.... They are white.... They still live there ....

They look to Mandela as a Hero...
