I went to the doctor after training to treat my lung infection. Took a corticosteroid shot in my ass and was prescribed an anti-biotic. So I'll take a rest day today and see how my body will respond by tomorrow. I may or may not take an extra day off tomorrow.

Slowly recovering from the illness right now. The corticosteroid (dexamethasone) that was injected in my ass yesterday is making me feel ... funky - my stress level has reduced dramatically and I feel more relaxed now. So now I have a clearer understanding of what cortisol does to my body.

Snatch: max - 100 kg. Ugly as shit. During the ascent I walked forward to save the lift - something I haven't done in a long while. Backed off with 90, 85, 80 for doubles

Power Cleans + Jerk - Maxed out at 120 kg. No BOS

I'm going to deload the rest of this week until I get back to feeling 100% again.

Yesterday I said I was going to deload, but I changed my mind. I was feeling better this morning - still recovering, but good enough for a decent training session today.

Snatch max: 110
Backed off with 90, 85, 80, 75, 70 for doubles

C+J max: 150
Backed off with clean pulls - 170 x 2, 175 x 2, 180 x 1

Front squat max: 160. Missed 170. I need to squat more.

What the fuck is wrong with these idiots? Just the other day, I was maxing out on a squat and there was a BABY just running amok, LEFT FUCKING UNATTENDED, just a yard or two to my left. Is this is a cultural thing, or are Crossfitters that fucking stupid? Why are people so oblivious of their surroundings? Does it fucking hurt to ask if you can cross the platform right before I'm about to perform a lift? Are they fucking aware of how it fucks with my concentration when they pull some stupidass shit like that?

Picked the wrong fucking time to quit alcohol cold turkey.

Prematurely stopped my training and stormed out in utter disgust. This place disgusts me. I'm sick and tired of compromising my training in order to "fit in" with this culture.

I mean, this fucking clusterfuck of a gym has a ridiculous set up. There are kettlebells and dumbbells and other shit strewn everywhere, making it hard for me to navigate around and in my platform. And the people piss me off to no end. Fucking intruding in my space and lacking proper etiquette. Such a fucking primitive, 3rd world mentality with these mental midgets. God damn it, I want to train in a proper facility - I can't make any serious gains here.
