He didn't say he wasn't coming back. He was just complaining to the public about his offered pay for season 2. Basically this is just a negotiating tactic to get a better deal.

We've all heard Jeremy Renner's interview where he divulges that he was offered one half of his season one salary. But I suspect that what he omitted out was that maybe his character Clint Barton would also have less screen time in season 2 of Hawkeye.
Yep it's also about negotiating. You get the public on your side saying they offered me half my salary. This gets fans going like OMG he is an OG Avenger and nearly died IRL give the man his money.

What you don't say is I have way less screentime because I can't move like I used to.

Marvel should still pay him in full though. After all he is the strongest Avenger.

Hawkeye > Sentry

Its funny that they call bucky a new avenger when he was in the last two movies with them. Also wouldnt he be on sams avengers since they have a connection (and a show together) and was already an avenger with him? I liked the movie but i just found it funny how they glossed over all the good stuff buckys already done with the group.

I watched the new captain falcon movie again and it really seemed like they did the TV show over with a bigger budget and better ideas. I liked the movie it just felt odd to have two sam wilson movies/series so close and both being so familiar.

You're good to go. Black Widow (2021) and Falcon and the Winter Soldier are the only two essentials to watch before seeing Thunderbolts.

Bucky does make a cameo appearance in Brave New World but it was not that important and not necessary to watch that movie. He just shows up in the hospital to give moral support to Sam Wilson and they reveal that Bucky's running for congress.

Wait I have to watch the Falcon and Winter Soldier series?

Just watched it this afternoon. First Marvel film I've really enjoyed in ages . Liked the whole mental health issues they covered .

@Dragonlordxxxxx if Trump imposes 100% tariffs on films made outside of America, could that effect Doomsday, which is being filmed in the UK?

Nope. If you do, great, if not, you won't really be missing much other than why someone else is running around as Captain America.

Yea, I never watched Falcon And The Winter Soldier cause I do not care for Bucky at all and that new Captain America gimmick is pretty much the only thing I didnt know that I was actually curious about in this movie

Bat knows his shit, confirmed

Just watch the new Captain America and youll meet the characters from the show. It was terrible anyway with possibly one of the worst 5 minute talking down to you speeches ever.

"You've got to do better, Senator!"

Is a strong contender for worst single MCU line.

Although my vote would go to,

"They'll never know what you gave up for them, Wanda!"

It would help but honestly it's still okay to go in without seeing Falcon and the Winter Soldier. All you need to know is that John Walker was the new Captain America sanctioned by the US government after Sam Wilson declined the role initially. Walker's kinda a dick. Below is a brief recap of what happened to Walker if you're interested.

Walker couldn't hack it and got his ass handed to him in combat. So he illegally took a super soldier serum. After his best friend was killed, Walker roid raged and killed a terrorist in public. Walker was fired from the job. CIA head Valentina offered Walker a new job and he became the US Agent.

@Dragonlordxxxxx if Trump imposes 100% tariffs on films made outside of America, could that effect Doomsday, which is being filmed in the UK?
It could. But there's so many questions like is he talking about foreign films only or is he also talking about Hollywood films that are shot outside the US or do their post-production work outside the US. Does this include TV shows also? Another question is what if only 25% of the film are shot outside the US, does it mean it will only be tariffed 25%?

If this is implemented, it will probably mean studios will make less movies than before. They'll also be picky on greenlighting scripts that are shot outside the US. If foreign films and TV shows are tariffed, US distributors or streaming sites might have to increase the price for ticket prices or streaming services. Then there's also retaliatory tariffs from international countries which would mean that ticket prices for Hollywood films in other countries might be priced higher OR they won't bother showing them at all due to the high tariffs.

The movie shouldn't work, you basically have 3 Captain America's (with one being a Russian version) a 2nd rate Black Widow, Ghost who is so different from anyone else etc...

Yet, somehow the chaos works

I'm going to go ahead and recommend the movie again

I hated Taskmaster costume in Black Widow. But I have to admit that new Taskmaster costume in Thunderbolts was pretty good and a huge improvement over the first.
