Ah! See? That was my total lack of knowledge of the source material at play.

In that context I could totally see it. They'd have to have given Skarsgård a metric shit-ton of money to make it worth his while to get into his Northman physique for the amount of screentime he would've had in the film, but it would have fitted that scenario like a fucking glove.

I'm still stuck in 2017 when I made that Sentry fancasting. But after seeing the movie, Skarsgard doesn't really have to overly bulk up for the role since the Sentry costume is pretty convincing (ala Homelander).

I read the comments and majority of his followers that actually watched the movie disagreed with his take.

I like the Drinker, but I think at this point he, and others, just want Marvel to fail.

The MCU has put out some dog-shit movies/shows over the last few years and I'm not defending them. But credit where it's due when they actually make a decent film.

Yeah I really don't waste time with the Critical Drinker he gets off on shitting on Woke Choices. Whatever I hate pandering too but he is just looking at reasons to be Critical.

That said I enjoyed Thunderbolts. Action was solid , chemistry of the cast was way more than I could have ever expected .

8/10

@Dragonlordxxxxx

Also Sentry is a complicated Character to introduce but going on the mental illness and depression aspect of the Character allowed me to feel for the characters issues but also see how dangerous or helpful he can be depending on his state of mind , very good way to Introduce the Void as well. Lewis Pullman and Florence Pugh have good chemistry so her playing a broken character trying to save another Broken Person worked well.

I laughed that they got rid of Taskmaster so quick, director of this movie must have hated the Black Widow Movie storyline as well.

I legit did not know that Bob is played by Bill Pullman's son.

In the scene where he first appeared as Sentry in his costume with his fancy pants hairdo and was giving his speech, the way he was talking and his head movements were reminding me of someone but I could not figure out who and then after I saw his name in the credits, I realized he was reminding me of Bill Pullman in Independence Day

This movie was so relatable on a lot of levels for me and my gf. You could absolutely sympathize with each one and I even felt bad for John Walker, which I never thought I would do.

It hit a lot of personal beats and was fun to watch. Will definitely see again.

Borderline Top 5 MCU movie for me. 9/10.

This is what Marvel films are supposed to be...... fun. Whether or not marvel is "back" I will wait on f4 which i have doubts about as I just don't have the same vibe as Thuderbolts about (mostly related to the terrible casting).

However F4 will have Thunderbolts momentum helping it going in. Which Imo is why Thunderbolts was the May release an not F4 as they knew TB was goung to be good and wanted that lift.

It just got over really enjoyed it. Tho was kinda ruined because few people wouldn't shut the fuck up the whole movie

I once kicked the back of a couple's seats so hard they nearly fell out of them. They'd been talking since the film started, and checking their phone's every five minutes.

I love movies. I'm not too keen on most people.
