Flash KO's isn't "handling" someone. nothing happened in that fight until that exchange in the 2nd. JDS before the Cain Maulings and war with Stipe would have let his hands go against Cockoreem.

Big Foot permanently destroyed Reems chin so that anyone over 240lbs who hit him hard flush would Tko or KO him. I think only vs Arlovski and Harris did he survive some hard shots and continue to win

Firstly, it’s not accurate to call JDS a glass cannon. He had only been stopped by strikes once in his entire career at that time, and had just gone 5 rounds with Stipe in the fight just prior to the Overeem fight. I don’t think JDS was fully in his prime anymore, but he certainly not a glass cannon.
Would you feel better if I said JDS didn’t handle Reem, instead of saying he couldn’t? I don’t really get what you’re trying to split hairs over. They had a nice strategic stand up fight, and JDS got TKOed. Declining Reem beat Declining JDS, and prime Reem probably beats prime JDS too. Imho of course, as we’ll never know.

Ubereem still had cardio issues. See the Werdum Strikeforce fight. Prime JDS finishes Ubereem in the later rounds imo.

The testing wasn’t any different than what happened with Strikeforce. Commissions handled the testing in both orgs. NSAC caught Reem slipping at a media event lol.

That fight was horrible. I don’t recall Reem having bad cardio issues in that one, but I was also so pissed off at what an awful fight that was that maybe I’m mis-remembering. I just remember Werdum endlessly flopping and Overeem not following him to the ground, over and over for 5 rounds.

It wasn't a 5 round fight. Ubereem was absolutely gassed in the 3rd and would've likely been finished by Werdum if it went any longer. Prime JDS had elite cardio and elite chin. I'd bet Werdum would pick prime JDS to beat Ubereem.

Oh you’re right, that was a Grand Prix fight and they didn’t have Overeem defending the belt for some stupid reason. I forgot that was only 3 rounds. Jesus, it felt like an eternity.
